Jake “Harry” Harrison is everything that Haven Daniels loathes, he has money, confidence and good
looks. She assumes he comes from a good background with a trust fund which is the opposite to her
life and as such she hates that he seems to have it all.
I love Louise Bay’s writing style and her Empire State Series is one of my go to books to re-read when I need a pick me up. I was seriously worried that she wouldn’t be able to top the wonderful Ethan Scott but I should have known better her writing just keeps getting better and better.
As usual her characterization is excellent and you will find yourself cheering these two on as they struggle to find their way.
Haven is feisty and calls it exactly as it is, you will find yourself laughing out loud at her treatment of Harry, she has no filter what so ever and calls a spade a spade !
Although this was a novella it was just the right size for me as I couldn’t put it down and had to finish it in one sitting even though that meant I was reading til 3am on a Saturday morning. Please bring on book two as I doubt I will get enough of Harry / Jake.

In book two Haven has over heard a conversation and taken advantage and run away from Jake.
I don’t want to spoil the plot of this wonderful book so I will just say that Haven is still as uptight and Jake is still trying to get her to let him in.
As always Louise Bay’s writing style is fabulous and effortless. She makes her characters so lifelike that at one point I wanted to reach into the book grab Haven by the throat and shake some much needed sense into her, however I won’t tell you what I wanted to do to Jake I will leave that to your imagination.
I always look forward to the new offering by Louise but I think this might just be one of the best books yet. The sex scenes are wonderful and touching and Louise manages to introduce bondage while still making you feel as if the two main characters are making love.
All this and a wonderful cliffhanger, I seriously need book 3 now and be warned Louise I will be stalking your author pages for spoilers and updates !

This is the third and final book in this wonderful series by the very talented Louise Bay.
It starts off exactly where book 2 finished with the cliff hanger, and I don’t want to say too much
and spoil it for you if you haven’t read books.
In the second installment I was so frustrated with Haven I wanted to slap her at times, but in this book
I found her growing on me and I actually felt sorry for her. I love all Louise’s characters but think
Jake might be my second favourite (after all there is only one Ethan Scott!).

As always the writing style was effortless and a joy to read, the sex scenes were hot and steamy and
the plot was wonderful. I loved the ending which tied the entire series up in a great big bow.

I’m hoping that we get the story of Luke and her best friend Ash next as these two so need to be together are you listening Louise Bay.
