They move into a new apartment, this is where Erica meets Slate. Slate Andrews is everything that Erica needs to avoid. He is rich and famous and could blow Erica's cover with one photo. Erica is drawn to this man straight away. Can Slate protect Erica as well as Leo has for the last 3 years? The first chapter really grips you as it's so intense. I loved this book from start to finish. I can't wait to read Leo's book- I hope he gets the HEA he deserves.

The first chapter shocked the hell Out of me, I was not sure what I expected from Aly but this, defiantly not. It grabbed my attention and drew me in like a moth to a bloody flame.
Riley is on the run she believes she needs to remain in the background to remain safe and hidden. Her fears are crippling but for all the right reasons I don't Blame her after the ordeal she endured. (OMG I wish I could say so much more about "Riley's ordeal but I can't give too much away.....it will be worth it when you read for yourself.)
She has Dave/Leo to protect her but he is the only person she has any form of human contact with. She has a job but she keeps to herself.
They have to mover ever so often to keep their location safe and the bad guys in the dark.
Their new home has more than a few surprises one been Slate Andrews "Adam". Slate is the undefeated heavy weight boxing champion of the world, but this champion is unlike any you have meet before. Boxing gave Slate an outlet as a child and a way to be the man of the house and protect his single mother. He loves the sport but not the fame or lifestyle that comes along with such status, Slate is an introverted quite person. To escape the pressures of the limelight he escapes to the run down apartment he once lived in with his mother. However on his break from being "Slate the champion" he runs into a frightened, fragile young women that is about to turn his world upside down.
Slate and Riley are drawn to each other but with all the secrets and shadows echoing all around them can they make a relationship work?
Will Riley reveal the truth about her past and trust the only man to set the heart ans soul on fire?
I'm not telling so you NEED to read and find out.
Overall a great effort for Aly Martinez, the book is well written with a great flow, a well thought out and executed plot. I was fully engaged during the entire book, it kept me wanting more right up until the very last page where I discovered Leo will be getting his own book so I am overly excited about that. I truly feel in love with Leo and I hope he finds the redemption and love he so deserves.
I highly recommend, a definite Must Read
