Before starting I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews but I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised after finishing this book.
There are a lot of books out there about this topic but our demi-gods in this story are vikings and you'll also see nymphs pas through ;-)I don't really see the relation between vikings and gods like Zeus, Hermes,... but why the hell not, it is just a book after all!
Callie looks like your average school girl but I guess nothing is what it seems right?! ;-) She'll surprise everyone with who or what she really is. I am baffled as to how cool she handled all of the things that where thrown at her in a rapid pace, usually the heroine freaks out a bit.. It's propably her inner '...' that is helping her cope.
Oh sweet Liam, mister TDH, he was a new kind of male lead in every way... Yet so the same... It's hard to desribe him without kiss and tell... lol
And then we have Justin of course, Callie's best friend; who could only 'wish' for more, or not?
Throw in a bunch of other creatures and you'll have one hell of a ride!
Overall this was a pretty interesting story and I'm pretty curious as to how the other books in the series will develop.
