ENLIGHTENED BY C.C BROWN

                                                              synopsis:

After being humiliated and having her heart broken, Cara vowed to never let love cloud her better judgments again. She knows the warning signs, she's seen the red flags, and she's now picking up the pieces and moving forward with her life.
Jason felt the effects of humiliation and heartbreak as well. He's realized the error of his ways and wants nothing more than to prove to Cara that he can be the man that she needs him to be.
Past secrets, family members, and new players threaten to keep the couple apart. Will a newly enlightened Cara be able to wade through the murky waters and find happiness with Jason, or will her heart and the outside forces keep the two apart?

ENLIGHTENED REVIEW:

Squeals are known for not loving up to the original but C.C Brown delivered with Enlightened. She drew me right back into the story, after that all mighty cliffhanger at the end of Red Flags

Chapter 1-10 (12) was one giant foreplay C.C build so much anticipation that by the time Jason makes an appearance the excitement I felt was overwhelming to say the last. I was holding my breath just waiting and waiting......brilliant; it sets up the storyline for the remainder of the book.

The story continues but their are new Characters, Plot and Twist keeping this book fresh new and engaging. I read this book with a huge smile on my face.

Characters developments and I am all about the character development and lucky for me Enlightened was jam packed with Character development. All the main players from Red Flags was developed in some way.

After the bomb shells, devastations, and humiliations that went down in Texas Jason has done a complete 180, it was heart-warming to see him change and develop to became a whole new person. (Start Swooning Ladies).
What I found most amazing is that no one prompted him to change; he saw and recognise he had serious problems and was man enough to seek help. Not only did he change in hopes of winning back the love of Cara but more importantly for himself, he wanted to be a better man and the kind of man Cara deserves.

Cara has also done some major growing up, toughening up along the way girl has grown some balls (about damm time) she was a little prophetic and Pitiful in Red Flags but she earned my respect and the way she dealt with Stacy was total bad ass.

Is it all too little to late for Cara and Jason to fight for LOVE with new secrets revealed and Characters with their own agenda......only way to find out is to get a copy of a Enlightened when its released on 14/4/13

C.C Brown's writing was once again brilliant , clear, easy to read and despite the emotional power keg of this time funny at times, she kept the story fresh and interesting and it a constant state of wanting more.
I really enjoyed this book cannot wait to read more of her work in the future.

For those that have read Red Flags this is a no briner-An ABSOLUTE MUST READ.

If you have not read Red Flags I highly recommend you do before reading Enlightened.

SYNOPSIS:

Cara Pinkston, a 21 year old San Diego native, wants nothing more than to complete her final semester of college quietly and peacefully. A normally focused and reserved student, she becomes flustered after meeting her incredibly good-looking and wealthy classmate, Jason Bradley.
Jason wants Cara, and pursues her aggressively. A reluctant Cara gives in to him and is thrust into a fast paced, emotionally charged, roller coaster relationship. She has to decide if the flutters she feels are blissful butterflies or warning signs. Will Cara follow her lustful heart, or will she pay attention to the Red Flags?

REVIEW:

I read Red Flags back in January and I have being completely obsessed ever since...
BLOODY FANTASTIC AND INFERNO HOT................I finished this book in few hours I could not put it down. The story line over all was captivating a real page turner had me on the edge of my seat holding my breath and LITERALLY praying.
Cara a very weak individual I normally hate characters like that but C.C Brown made me love her all the same (beautiful, innocent, girl next door).
Jason Bradley is Hot, Controlling, jealous, arrogant Southerner alpha with serious complex deep seated issues. He needs a lot of work but you still feel for him because of his love for Cara. He has major secrets and family drama to last a lifetime. He hides all his demons from her in an attempt to protect her from all the fucked-upness he is drowning in, only to end up making it worst (stupid men).
I had a serious book hangover from this one I could not get this out of my head. I waited impatiently until I finally had Enlighten in my little greedy hands.
