Title: Swink
Series: Landry Family #5
Author: Adriana Locke
Genre: A Standalone Bad Boy/Good Girl Romance

Blurb

I’m that guy.

Camilla Landry rustles against me, the silky fabric of her overpriced lingerie slipping along my bruised rib. The porcelain perfection of her skin is even more innocent against the colorful ink dotting my own. It’s demure meets damage, pampered meets punctured.

So, yeah, it’s obvious I’m that guy. Dominic Hughes. Her attempt at rebellion. Her bid to see what the other side of the tracks feel like. I’m okay with being used because, from where I’m sitting, the other side of the tracks have never looked so good.

Excerpt

He’s standing in the doorway, one hand on the sweatpants that hang just below his chiseled hips and the other leans on the frame. The tattoos that mark his flesh are vivid against his bare skin, making the blues of his eyes shine.
He flashes a lopsided smile my way. “Took you long enough.”
“I don’t drive like a bat out of hell,” I laugh, stepping past him. “Did you shower already?”
“Yeah. I smelled like gym floors.”
“As long as you don’t smell like gym whores,” I say, setting the bags on the table in the kitchen.
His laugh is contagious and I feel myself smiling. A set of arms cage me in from behind, grasping the table on both sides of me. My skin breaks out in a shiver as his lips find the sensitive spot behind my ear.
His face buries in the crook of my neck and he takes a long, leisurely breath. “You smell so good.”
“Keep doing that,” I say, relaxing my head onto his chest.
“What?”
“Talking with your mouth against me.”
“You like this?” he asks all breathily so that each word whispers across my skin.
My eyes fall closed as I relish in this moment of nothing but him. “No, I love this.”
“Can I tell you a little secret?”
“As long as you keep talking, you can tell me whatever you want.”
He chuckles, dotting kisses up and down my neck. “I love this too, feeling your body give up the fight of the day and let me take over.” He turns me in his arms so I’m facing him. “I love that you trust me enough to let your shoulders sink out of that perfect posture you walk around with.”
As he reaches up and undoes the elastic in my hair, I watch his features soften. He moves carefully, unwrapping the tie from the twisted mess in my locks, careful not to pull.
“There,” he says, cupping the back of my head through my long tresses, “that’s better.”
“You don’t like my hair up?”
“Not like you had it. You look to lunching-y,” he says, wrinkling his nose.
“Lunching-y?”
“Yes,” he grins.
“You are too cute.”
“You are too fucking sexy.”
Reaching up, I swipe the pad of my thumb over the cut above his eye. He flinches, but just for a second. “What happened?”
“Bond’s right hand.”
“I hate him.”
“So do I,” he snickers.
“Let’s get some ice for it.”
He leans in, his brows tugging together. “Let’s not.” His eyes hood as he takes me in, his tongue darting out and wetting his lips. My knees weaken, my body humming with delight at his reaction.
“I want to take care of you,” I whisper, although that’s really on the backburner now. “Let me baby you.”
Instead, he lifts me up and places me on the table. My stomach clenches as he positions himself between my thighs, my sundress curling at my waist. I ring my legs around him, pulling him so close that the soft cotton of his sweatpants rubs against my opening.
He looks down. “You aren’t wearing panties.”
Naomi's Review

I have followed the Landry boys on the journey from the very beginning and LOVED every single one of them. When Adriana revealed that the 5th and final book of the series was going to be Camilla's...I'm not going to lie, I had mixed feelings. On one hand I couldn't wait to find out what was going on in Camilla's life and on the other How would it work and would it fit in with the series...I should not have worried!

Adriana's writing is addictive and Dominic and Camilla have just became my new drug.

SWINK has now become one of my favorite books of 2017...It had it all, The sassy woman, bad boy and Landry brothers...move over boys cos Dominic is here to give you a run for your money!!!

Camilla Landry has it all...An amazing family made up of her supportive parents, adoring twin sister and 4 older protective brothers. Living a life that only most people could ever dream of. Happy and content in her life things are going great. But her life is changed forever when her Air Conditioning breaks down and Dominic is the one who arrives to fix it.

Nothing has ever came easy for Dominic. Growing up with his brother in a rundown house with a father that destroyed everything and a mother who couldn't get out. With events of his child hood still withing heavy on his shoulders, as a adult he has had to fight to get to where he is today. Family to him is everything and he goes above and beyond for his brother and nephew.

Meeting Camilla whilst on a job was a surprise to say the least. From the very first moment they were unable to deny their attraction. Starting something that should have been over a long time ago. She is a good girl hanging around in the wrong world with the bad boy.

Dominic knows that he will never be what Camilla truly deserves and as much as he tries to distance himself at times, the pull is just too strong. Camilla understands Dominic's resistance but it hurts none the less. She wants to find the true love like others have. She want to pick her own man with no ones interference She has her sights set on Dominic.

What started as a little fun soon turned into something alot deeper. With the odds stacked against them can this couple get a HEA???

I love this MC book and once again Kristen has done an amazing job. Writing a story that had me gripped from beginning to end and on the edge of sanity throughout.
Full of emotions, the way we get this story from multiple POV added to the depth.

This is Raine and Ryder's story. Completely in love and besotted with each other, they get married and have a baby on the way. Looking at moving from her parents home to their own home comes at a time when the club isnt entirely safe but everyone knows it the next logical step.

With everything looking great for the future, the MC past comes back with a vengeance and their HEA is put in jeopardy!

With life put a risk and a massive loss for the Unacceptable MC...You will always remember the sense of family when it comes to being part of an MC. They fight together and die together. They protect whats there's till the very end and they come together to offer support and a shoulder at your lowest times.

Well done Kristen...I cant wait for what comes next!!!

BLOG TOUR ~ SEDUCING LOLA by Jessica Prince

SBPRBanner-Seducing-Lola-BT

Seducing Lola by Jessica Prince Publication Date: July 18th, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance

Seducing Lola, an all-new romantic standalone from Jessica Prince is available NOW!!

Seducing Lola front cover high res

I’ve had my fair share of bad relationships. I’ve dated liars, cheaters, shoe fetishists, and everything in between. Sure, these experiences would make any woman cynical when it comes to dipping her toe back into the dating pool, but I used my past for good and made a career out of helping other women avoid going down the same paths I had.
And I was damn good at it.
Until a random act of fate set my life on a course I’d been avoiding for years, and put me in the crosshairs of a man that made me feel things I swore to never feel again.
Now I’m in his sights and it seems like he’ll stop at nothing to seduce the hell out of me. He might hold my career in the palm of his hands, but if Grayson Lockhart thinks he can blackmail me into submission with his sexy voice and sexy hands and sexy everything, then he’s…probably right.

Prologue

If you’d have asked my twenty-year-old self what I saw in my future ten years down the road, I probably would’ve answered the same way as every other naïve co-ed living the college dream on Sorority Row. I’d be married to the love of my life, raising our two perfect children in the suburbs—because the city is no place to bring up a family, obviously—and driving a top-of-the-line SUV that all the minivan moms would envy because I had way too much style to ever be caught dead driving a minivan. Clearly, my twenty-year-old self was an idiot. It was she who forgave—then was subsequently dumped by—my college sweetheart after finding him pile-driving my sorority sister from behind on the handmade quilt I’d spent countless hours creating out of his old high school football T-shirts as a birthday present. His brilliant excuse? “You’re just not adventurous enough, Lola. She’s willing to try things in bed that you aren’t.” Apparently refusing to allow him to film us having sex and entering it into a contest on a porn site was just too vanilla for him. Last I heard, he was making a killing on the amateur scene. Unfortunately, my twenty-one and twenty-two-year-old selves weren’t all that smart either. It was my twenty-one-year-old self who discovered I’d unwittingly been made a beard by Brad, the guy I had dated for six months, because his evangelical parents just “wouldn’t understand.” BTW, Brad and Phillip’s wedding was a really lovely affair. He asked me to stand as his best woman—since he considered our relationship the reason he finally made his way out of the closet—but I turned down the honor, choosing instead to get annihilated on mojitos at the open bar. My twenty-two-year-old self thought I had finally found a decent guy. That was until I came home to find him doing something I’ll never be able to unsee to a pair of Louboutins I’d spent the better part of a year saving up for. The saddest part? I hadn’t even had a chance to wear them before his defilement. I didn’t have the heart to throw them in the trash, so I let him take them with him when I kicked his ass out. I should’ve known better, honestly. It wasn’t like I’d grown up in a home with my very own personal June and Ward Cleaver. Oh no, my parents split when I was only six years old. And it was anything but amicable. My mom never kept her hatred for my father secret. And dear old Dad never hid the string of women he kept on tap, one for whatever mood he may’ve been in. It was shocking that I hadn’t grown bitter at an even younger age, having to deal with their drama, but I was in my early twenties and still a believer in happily ever afters. Like I said, I was an idiot. Now I know what you’re thinking. After three miserable failures, I was probably a jaded cynic who was convinced true love didn’t exist. Well, you’d only be half right. See, I believed in love, sure… as long as it was happening to anyone other than me. I’d been the fateful target of that bastard Cupid’s stupid-ass arrow three times already; I had no desire to go for a fourth. I wasn’t anti-relationship when it came to other people. To each their own and all that jazz. And I didn’t hate men. I just didn’t believe they were of any use to me for anything other than a few hours of fun that eventually led to a—hopeful—mutual release before I sent them on their way. I learned from my mistakes, grown wise as the years passed. I knew exactly what I wanted out of my life, and believe me, there wasn’t a shitty picket fence in sight. If the suburbs were for families, then the city was exactly where I was meant to be. I was a successful, accomplished thirty-two-year-old woman who’d gotten where I was in life by hard work, perseverance, and the cluelessness of women all around the world. My name was known in households all throughout Washington State. I, along with my two best friends, hosted Seattle’s most successful female-based talk radio show, aptly titled Girl Talk. I’d managed to make more money in the past ten years by offering relationship advice to helpless women than I’d ever know what to do with. It was safe to say the rose-colored glasses were off. I lived in the real world where men cheated and women drowned their sorrows in vats of Ben & Jerry’s. Sure, I wasn’t living the future I saw for myself when I was twenty, but then again, at twenty, I still thought Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were meant to be, that Wedding Crashers was cinematic brilliance, and that the whole Tom Cruise/Oprah couch jumping “I’m in love with Katie Holmes” thing was actually romantic. What the hell did I know back then? A lot had changed over the years. And as I gazed out the floor-to-ceiling windows of my penthouse apartment, overlooking the Puget Sound, I could honestly say without a shred of doubt that I wouldn’t have it any other way. SL-AN

Within the first few pages this book had me laughing out loud ! I absolutely loved the comical personalities of all the characters. Lola is a sassy confident successful woman who has had enough of broken hearts, not just her own but watching her own mum and her best friends cope with the heartache of men has built her walls around her heart so high there is no chance they will be broken down by any man. Lola and her 2 best friends use their experiences to give relationship advice on air to woman that are at their wits end with their other half's.

Grayson is a hot successful business man who loves a challenge and puts up a good fight for what he wants. Grayson has woman falling at his feet, he has never met a woman like Lola, she doesn't fall for his charm and that only makes him more determined.

Lola exudes confidence and she has every right to, she knows she can turn heads and being successful only helps her. When a stranger listens to her hysterical phone call with her mum he cant help but feel the pull to her , he is determined to get her name but Lola isn't fallen for that and loves that she left him hanging !

When Lola set's up an on air call to a what she thinks is a cheating man for a woman in need is when her life is about to do a full circle !

Grayson has been battling with a crazy stalker and the last thing he expected was for this to be aired, especially from the company that he and his father own !He doesn't need the bad press that this could cause and when his father comes up with a plan to limit this he cant wait to use this to his advantage.

Lola is convinced that she is about to loose everything she has ever worked for, what she didn't expect was for the handsome stranger from the coffee shop to work into the conference room while she has made herself at home and change her life !

Be careful where you read this book as you will literally laugh out loud continuously through out this book, the banter, chemistry and hotness that is Lola and Grayson is pure genius, very light hearted but mixed with romance, some steamy sex scenes, heartbreaks and dysfunctional families worked brilliantly.

Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside. That's why God created central air, after all. Jessica is the mother of a perfect little boy--she refuses to accept that he inherited her attitude and sarcastic nature no matter what her husband says. In addition to being a wife and mom, she's also a wino, a coffee addict, and an avid lover of all types of books--romances still being her all time favs. Her husband likes to claim that reading is her obsession but she just says it's a passion...there's a difference. Not that she'd expect a boy to understand. Jessica has been writing since she was a little girl, but thankfully grew out of drawing her own pictures for her stories before ever publishing her first book. Because an artist she is not.

BLOG TOUR ~ OUT OF THE ASHES by L. A. Casey

Title: Out of the Ashes
Series: Maji, Book 1
Genre: Science Fiction, Romance

LA Casey brings her readers OUT OF THE ASHES — the first Sci FiRomance book in a new series of sexy standalone novels. These other world alphas are looking for their perfect mates that can bring them to their knees… and human women fit their criteria perfectly.

For Nova, a twenty-three-year-old survivalist, wandering a barren wasteland was a lonely existence. But her day-to-day life was about to drastically change forever. Gone were the days when her only worries were rabid animals, augmented humans, the unforgiving scorching sun, and rogue watchmen. Now, Nova found herself faced with a new threat, and he was tall, grey, and horribly stubborn.
For Kol, a two-hundred-year-old daredevil, sailing the never-ending waves of deep space was a vast and thrilling life to lead. He had one objective on Earth—rescue as many human females as possible and return them to his home planet. It was supposed to be simple, but no one told Kol that a human female’s tongue could slice a male like a blade. His charge was short, strikingly attractive, and she talked way too much.
Nova wasn’t going to be kidnapped without putting up a fight, but Kol was more than ready to go toe to toe with her. These two species set out on a collision course that would redefine the phrase “The Big Bang” forever.

I swayed from side to side as my pain and shock became too much for me. I focused my blurring vision dead ahead and made out six dark figures walking toward me. Six huge figures. When they stopped a few metres from me, they stared at me, and me at them. They were fully clothed in a black armour of some kind, and it only made them look that much more intimidating.
The man in the front said something in a language that didn’t sound of this planet, and without thinking, I stammered, “Wh-what?”
The man grunted and turned to his right and spoke to the person behind him in that same strange language.
“No,” the man behind replied in strained English. “We’ve practiced for weeks; you have not. You need to learn how to speak the human languages to make this mission easier, just until we fit them with translators of their own. Do what I told you to do. Repeat what your translator says through your comm, and the female will understand you like you can understand me right now. I’m not responding to you anymore unless you use this particular human language.”
With a defeated sigh, the large man turned back in my direction.
“I sa-said,” he rumbled in a bizarre accent as he switched to an extremely choppy version of English, pausing every couple of words as if he was trying to form them as he spoke. “What ‘re … you ‘oing … out … ‘ere?”
After he had spoken, he removed the mask that covered his face. The now well-lit area shone brightly on his face and revealed all I needed to know about him to be terrified. He had vibrant grey skin, dazzling violet eyes, and menacing sharp teeth with gold caps on them. That was the moment I dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes and began tumbling into darkness.
“Why do fe-females … ‘eep ‘oing … dat ‘round me?” the Maji asked with a tired sigh.
Without missing a beat, the other voice said, “I told you that you were ugly. How many human females must faint before you until you realise that?”

Release Blitz ~ Hell Hath No Fury by Annabelle Anders

Title: Hell Hath No Fury
Author: Annabelle Anders
Genre: Regency
Publisher: Blue Tulip Publishing

Most London Misses are looking to find a husband, Cecily Nottingham wants to get rid of one.

To keep the money, he has to keep her as well…
Cecily Nottingham has made a huge mistake.
The marriage bed was still warm when the earl she thought she loved crawled out of it and announced that he loved someone else.
Loves. Someone else.
All he saw in Cecily was her dowry.
But he’s in for the shock of his life, because in order to keep the money, he has to keep her.
With nothing to lose, Cecily sets out to seduce her husband’s cousin, Stephen Nottingham, in an attempt to goad the earl into divorcing her. Little does she realize that Stephen would turn out to be everything her husband was not: Honorable, loyal, trustworthy…Handsome as sin.
Stephen only returned to England for one reason. Save his cousin’s estate from financial ruin. Instead, he finds himself face to face with his cousins beautiful and scorned wife, he isn’t sure what to do first, strangle his cousin, or kiss his wife. His honor is about to be questioned, right along with his self-control.
Amid snakes, duels and a good catfight, Cecily realizes the game she’s playing has high stakes indeed.  There are only a few ways for a marriage to end in Regency England and none of them come without a high price. Is she willing to pay it? Is Stephen? A ‘Happily Ever After’ hangs in the balance, because, yes, love can conquer all, but sometimes it needs a little bit of help.

“Stephen!” she gasped, shocked by what he seemed intent upon doing. “What on earth are you doing?”
He  looked up at her, smiling lustily. “Nothing.”
And then he went about his business.
Not in a million years had she ever imagined allowing a man to do… this!
And with his mouth no less!
“Oh, my God! Stephen, you are wicked,” she said, feeling quite wicked herself as she grasped the sides of his head.
He was not to be deterred. His tongue stroked and sucked in much the same way he’d done with her mouth, causing a new multitude of sensations to spiral inside of her.
He paused only a moment to look up at her.
“Surrender, Cecily.” He said. Giving her a lazy, sensual smile, “And prepare to die.”

A little about the music in the trailer…

The song for the trailer was written by myself and my sister, Marcie Stanley. Marcie’s beautiful voice is featured while she plays the piano… Due to illness, Marcie doesn’t perform much anymore so it was very special for me to be able to use the song that we wrote together, over twenty years ago.
The Song is titled “Disposable Relationship.”  I have a few tweeks for the lyrics to fit Stephen and Cecily’s situation.  Next time Marcie is up to recording I’ll change them to this:
For you, I would have done anything.
For you, can NOT have my soul.
For once you looked at me with empty eyes, the consequences… began to roll…
You’re a disposable relationship, damn the ton I’ll see your body gone. I’m throwing away a piece of my heart with you.
with the ash and the chamber pots of my life… you’re going down and I won’t cry… anymore…

Married to the same man for over 25 years, Annabelle Anders is mother to three children and two Miniature Wiener dogs. After owning a business and experiencing considerable success, she and her husband got caught in the financial crisis and lost everything; their business, their home, even their car.
At this point, she put her B.A. in Poly Sci to use and took work as a waitress and bartender.
Unwilling to give up on a professional life, she simultaneously went back to college and obtained a degree in Energy Management.
And then the energy market dropped off.
And then her dog died.
We can only be grateful for this series of unfortunate events, for, with nothing to lose and completely demoralized, she sat down and began to write the romance novels which had until then, existed only in her imagination.
She is happy to have found her place in life.
Finally.

I write under the name ANNABELLE ANDERS and my first book, Hell Hath No Fury released on 7-7-17.   I love the date!
Anyway, my novel is an edgy Regency Romance. I say ‘ edgy’, because it’s a little off the beaten path. Whereas most heroines in Regency Romances begin the story NEEDING a husband, my character, Cecily, needs to get rid of one. The man she married (an earl)  turned out to be a complete and utter toad (not literally! LOL)

My QUESTION FOR THIS GIVEAWAY is: Does it bother you that the hero is not the man she is married to in the beginning? E-mail your comment to andersannabelle@gmail.com  along with your address and I’ll send you a Hell Hath No Fury Tasseled Bookmark. (First 20 Respondents) Please include the name of the group or blog you are responding from 🙂
I look forward to discovering your thoughts on this concept!
