RELEASE DAY BLITZ AND REVIEW - A LOVE SO TRAGIC BY STEVIE J. COLE
Title: A Love so Tragic
Author: Stevie J. Cole
Genre: Contemporary/Second Chance Romance
Release Date: February 15, 2016
We all make them. Sometimes we break them. But what happens when the promise you break haunts your dreams, when that moment of betrayal echoes within every last beat of your heart?
Love is passionate, painful, and all consuming in the most brutal yet beautiful way. How many people have you said 'I love you' to? Five, ten, maybe no one? I've said that word to two men, but only one where I felt it.
This word sums up my relationship with Nicolas: devastating, painful, depressing.
A first love that should have lasted a lifetime, but I ruined with a stupid decision. Shakespeare would refer to Nicolas as my star crossed lover, and I should know that stories such as ours always end in tragedy, but even with that, I can't not love him, even if I'm married to someone else.
“The only way to possibly
make you understand this is to start at the beginning, and even putting this story into words, nothing can pull you into my heart, there aren’ t enough words to place you inside my soul. I need you to feel the magnitude of this romance.”
A Stevie J. Cole book could
be seen as one of life’s many lessons. No matter what book she writes it’ll make you think things over before, during and long after reading it.
A love so tragic is no
exception to that rule. I’d even say it does that and more.
Peyton is all that she said (
in the quote below) and more. How do I feel about her? After much deliberation I am starting to see why she did what she did. Although some things won’t ever sit well with me.
Again... This book ain’t
sunshine and butterflies. This story is cut back to the bare bones and is showing us what real life is and what becomes of it.
“Just know that whatever you
feel during the course of this story most likely isn't even a tenth of what I felt, and when you cry, it won't be as hard as I did. You may say what I did was wrong, and I don’t deny that. But if you understood the way my heart felt, staying faithful would have been unforgivable.”
Nicolas, my sweet sinful man.
I’ll let you all be the judge of him. No words can describe him in a rightful manner.
Together they are a ticking
time bomb waiting to explode over and over again.
Tick... Tick.. Tick.... Tick..
. Boom? Or will the storm put to rest and may there be a happily ever after in there somewhere?
Let’s just say the ending
will make you cry and curse and well pretty much shock the ever loving sh*t out of you!
So if you are ready to be
taught a lesson in love, life and the brutality of it all.. I cordially invite you to a book that’ll put that into practice.
