Once every so often you come across a book that keeps you hooked from start to finish.
Anything but minor was a sports / comedy romance that was completely told through a fresh perspective with an eye for the “realness” of the characters.
Alice is a heroine that goes on my all times favorite female leads lists. She was innocent yet super brave at the same time and she didn’t let herself get walked over by super confident Rafe.
Rafe looks like a very confident good looking man on the outside but on the inside even he has his insecurities.
When they meet the connection is there and prominent. However, neither of them is really ready to let themselves go and completely immerse themselves in the relationship. She because she is fiercely independent and afraid to have her heart broken, he because he is on the brink of a major career upgrade.
Together they are a humorous and sexy couple that makes me wish for a relationship like their own.
I definitely recommend this funny and exhilarating read that I will certainly be reading again in the future.
A native of Dallas, Kate Stewart now resides in beautiful Charleston, S.C. She lives with her husband of 9 years, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie.
Kate moved to Charleston three weeks after her first visit, dropping her career of 8 years, and declaring the city her creative muse. Since the move in 2010, Kate has written and published four novels including Room 212, Never Me, Loving the White Liar, The Fall, The Mind and The Heart.
Kate writes messy, sexy, angst filled romance books with 'hard to get' happy endings because it's what she loves as a reader. She has a scary addiction to chocolate milk and a deep love for rap music specifically the genius known as Marshall Mathers.
