This is a beautifully written second chance romance. Their story wasn't all hearts and flowers what this couple have gone through is heart breaking. I was hooked from beginning to end!!!
When Adam receives news that his mother is ill, he decides to return home. However home is also where she lives and he is still very much in love with her. She may have shattered his heart 12 years ago but she still carries the pieces.
Lily lost her heart 12 years ago when she lost Adam, He never came for her and she was left to face the future alone.
This couple were childhood sweethearts and everything was perfect. They explored their FIRST'S together and their marriage was to be their next step but the day never went as planned.
Now Adam is back and when this couple come face to face again it becomes clear that some things just don't add up. Both of them feel let down by the other but is their anger aimed at the wrong people. The attraction and bond between them is still as strong as ever.
