A very swoon worthy read, Jax is Hollywood's very hot bad boy who needs to tame his reputation to get the part that will make his career. His parents relationship has him believing that love is not an option for him although he has all the moves to make anyone believe that he can be head of heels in love with them ! Bumping into Penny in a bar reminds him of the pact they made all those years ago and makes her an offer she surely cant refuse.
Good old stable boring Penny has just been dumped for a model and has now been given the boot from a job she has worked her a**e off for , this is where being sensible has got her ! Seeing Jax again has her wanting to take a risk for a change. He is hot and famous, why wouldn't she want to pretend to be the one who is going to settle his bad boy ways and help a simple solution, right ?!?
Not too much drama, enough though to keep you turning the pages but plenty of chemistry between Jax and Penny make this such a good book. Their instant connection made you really believe they were meant to be right from the start. The flow of the story worked perfectly. This is the first book by Katie McCoy that I have read and although I haven't read the first two I will definitely be catching up with those, I didn't feel like I missed anything by not reading the other two first which was great and I look forward to more by this author.
