This book was a fantastic read. I loved the character and depth of the story. It was fun, sexy and very real!
When Hockey player Landon Boxer's agent announces his retirement, he knows he is going to have to sign with someone else. However he knows exactly what he wants, he wants someone like Duke, someone who understands that he is a single father and his daughter is his main priority, someone who will look after him and not just see the pound signs.
Sports agent Jocelyn Jones is all about the business. Growing up in the system after her parents death, she has fought hard to become a big name in a mans world. With news of Boxer's situation she is driven to get him on her books.
With a game plan in place She makes her move, however she wast expecting what is thrown in her path. Boxer isn't like other sports men and she has her work cut out for her. She also doesn't expect the feeling he bring out in her.
There is a definite attraction and when Boxer's six year old daughter Charli is thrown into the mix there is a lot more than a contract at stake.
With this couple getting closer, despite their reservations...Can they go the distance?
There is also the added stress of another agent fighting for Boxer's signature on the dotted line and he is willing to fight dirty.
I would recommend this book 100%. With all the twists it will keep you on the edge of your seat.
