{{RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW}} PITCH DARK by A. M. Wilson & Alex Grayson
IT'S LIVE!!!
One girl disappeared. After fifteen years, her cold lifeless body was found on the damp forest floor. Not an inch of her was unmarked by the horrors she endured. Alone, malnourished, abused in horrific ways; this was how she died.
One girl was found walking the streets, covered in dirt and scars. She had no memory of who she was, where she came from, or what happened to her. Even though the marks on her body attested to years of heinous abuse, her strength shone through at every turn.
Revenge and justice were sworn.
Years of searching brought up nothing but dead ends. Detective Niko James was too late to save his childhood friend, but he vows not to let down another.
The clock is ticking and the trail is pitch dark.
*TRIGGER WARNING* Some scenes depict abusive situations.

Brilliant ! If you like a story that packs a punch then I would highly recommend this ! From start to finish there is so much suspense, drama, anger and shocking twists to the story of Niko. There are some gruesome parts of the book that will rip your heart out and some sensitive subjects that some may find distressing.
Niko was consumed with the missing Aislin, he knew there was no way she would just run away and leave him, she had been kidnapped , he knew it but unable to convince the police he made it his life mission to find her and becoming a detective was his only way. 15 years later and she was still missing but he wasn't giving up hope, he chased every lead that he could in the hope that he could find out what happened to her. His anger and guilt ate him up daily, he couldn't deal with not being there when she was taken, he was her protector in so many ways yet he failed her this time.......
There is so much more that I want to say about this book and other characters but I really don't want to give away any spoilers.
The pace of the book was perfect and the story felt real which really draws you in. At first Niko isn't a man that was easy to love if I'm honest, he was so cold and his anger was so strong, although by the end of the book he won me round !
