I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and right from the start i wasn’t disappointed. Claimed takes us on Jordan and Jay’s journey from friends to lovers.
Working in security Jordan knows nearly everyone in the company but no one other than his team really knows him. He’s sexy and single but keeps his cards close to his chest, there is only one woman for him, he knew it from the first time he laid eyes on her but unfortunately she’s put him in the friend zone. When he’s with her he can barely put two words together let alone as her out. Basically she’s stolen his heart and she doesn’t even know it!
Jay is secretary to the owner of the company and without her, the place would probably fall apart. When it comes to work she’s a force to be reckoned with, you really don’t want to get on her wrong side but her personal life is a completely different story, not that she really has one. When she meets Jordan she’s instantly attracted to him but he doesn’t seem to feel the same but he agrees to go to lunch with her and from that day become friends, he’s probably her only friend in the company and she counts down the minutes till she can spend time with him.
On one of their lunch dates, Jordan decides to break his near silence and asks her out which doesn’t quite get the reaction he hoped for. Jay didn’t mean to push Jordan away but she was in total shock, he actually likes her! After a few email back and forth they agree to a date.
Jay starts to see a different side to Jordan, he’s an over protective alpha, his size and demeanour makes her feel small and safe. She loves everything about it!! The pair start a relationship after a few disastrous dates but become stronger than ever. Of course nothing ever goes smoothly and a series of frightening events sent to shake the couple putting both of their lives at risk could be the end to this short love story but they are going to fight with everything they have to make sure that doesn’t happen but will it be enough?
I loved everything about this book, it excited me, gripped me, had me laughing out loud and so much more. Jay and Jordan are two completely unexperienced lovers who have so much passion and chemistry with each other that i was glued to each page.
To me, Jordan is the perfect alpha male. He’s gorgeous, tall, packed with muscle, dominant and over protective but fiercely loves and will do anything for his women. The authors couldn’t have written him any better and Jay is his perfect match.
I can’t recommend this book enough absolutely worth 5* and more.
