This was my first read by Soraya Naomi but it most certainly will not be my last...
I will most definitely be going back and binge reading the entire Syndicate Series; so so good!
Brielle and Michael where to begin...their connection was undeniable like two magnets.
Brielle initially comes across very immature and naïve but as the layers are peeled back
around her character and she continues to grow within this story line;
she becomes this strong, easy going and loyal heroine that you can't help but root for.
Michael is grieving and riddled with guilt; he's built walls up around himself.
But he soon finds that it's hard to ignore the constant pull towards Brielle.
But Michael has secrets..big mafia type secrets...
Will Brielle be strong enough to handle the truth once everything is revealed to her?
Can Michael move past his grief and admit his true feelings?
There were so many aspects to this story that I really enjoyed..action, secrets,
the mafia and a swoon worthy connection that had me flying through the pages..
I definitely recommend The Man in Black
