This is about second chances and its super sweet. Jacqueline Kelly and Wesley Asher were best growing up in small town Texas. They both vow to escape their small town for bigger and better things once they graduate and leave for college. The two make a pack for promo night but was unable to go through with their plan causing a riff in their relationship. Daylight By Julie Cross
OH Holy Lamb Of God, this story blew me away it amazes me just how much Julie Cross manges to fit into such a short story. The emotions just came flying from the pages. WOOW this is reading perfection. You have love, lost, redemption, forgiveness, newness of life, Joy, sadness, Strength, faith, healing there is just so much I was on sensory overload. Its beautifully written the flow between present and pass is excellent and effortless. Marvellous wow I just love it so beautiful.
"Tonight, we'll fall asleep in each others arms like our last night together, but this time daylight will give us a beginning instead of an end."
Too Little Too Scarred By Lisa Desrochers
Aww is all I can say this story is so sweet and saw at the same time. Rene Vargas is a 20 year old solider in recovery after a roadside bomb exploded causing her to loose one eye with damage to the other and significant scaring to her face and body. This levers her suffering nightmares and anxiety attacks she fells damaged and lifeless she won't even leave her house unless its to attend appointments. Which completely saddens me, you can fell her depression through the pages you just want to reach through the book and help me. As a women your face is your pride and joy and to have that disfigured it cannot even begin to imagine the turmoil and anguish. She is completely lost.....Then in walks Rick (start swooning ladies he is wonderful and sweet as pie) A guy from her high school she was talking to Via Skype from Afghanistan they have some sort of connection going on but she pulls away from in in fear he will now be disgusted by her. Its heartbreaking but its also very sweet the way he fought for her and showed her how much she means to him, fake eye and scars included.
Overall: emotional with real depth and beauty of love. salvation and mending what was once broken. Very well written also.
Once Bitten By Cole Gibsen
I can't say I'm head over hells for this one but I do like it and I enjoyed it very much. the plot was well taught out and delivered, It has a hint of suspense which I like plus a man in uniform in love with a fire ball. After leaving her four years ago he is back and on a mission to win her back and make up for the mistakes he made by leaving her the way he did.
Crash By Sophie Jordan
Well this book was awesome loved it its Rich hot college guy about to graduate gets tricked by his room-mate to go to a strip club where he meets Brooke, a poor trailer park residence about to strip for the first time. Brooke freaks out when one customer get all too garbby and Hunter set in to get the guy away from her and the rest is sort of history. He wants her number but she refuses because according to her "Guys like him don't date girls liker her." But Hunter is a very persistent and does not give up until her has her digits and as they say the rest is history. Loved Hunter and Brooke. I seriously think the author should consider writing them a full story I really want to know what happens after he calls her......
Under The Seryn moon By Melissa Landers
This book is set in some next time or planet I don't even know but I could not careless the short story is awesome and sweet and I loved it. This on is super short like one chapter. I have never read anything like it and wished it had been longer because it seems like something really special and interesting.
Going For Broke By Lyla Payne
Holy shit the writing style of this story is fucking sick I could not get enough it was simply beautiful it flowed from the pages caressing me in literature bliss. The metaphors and similes are just exquisite. Noel and Tressa two people madly in love with each other and I mean that crazy kind of love that is hard to fine, but they never worked out. Now Noel is getting married to someone else Tressa is finally going to admit to him how she fells something she should have done two years ago.
Will Noel take a chance at a once in a lifetime love or settle because he doe not want to be hurt again.
loved the duel POV
For The Sake Of Science By Mark Perini
When I first started I was not feeling the story, as I read on I could not help but fall the beauty of the story and the characters. This book is a very different, in a good way the plot is original, fresh and interesting. Love at first sight transcending culture and language barriers to find a slice of happiness that's not easily come by.
Love In An Elevator By Carrie Ryan
The title says it all, love in an elevator
Bunga Bunga by
This story had me cracking up very funny and cool
With The Lights On By Alessandra Thomas
This one is quite deep for a short story but i loved it it has real emotions and problem its about loving yourself before you can love another. And just letting go of the past and embracing the future.
Field Emotions By Melissa West
I really enjoyed this one and was sad to see it end. I think the author can write an entire book for these two; Summer and Blake their story needs to be told.
Grind By Tracy Wolff
Good story.
Overall a wonderful collection with something for everyone.
