*** Warning, this is a classified as a dark erotic novel. It deals with some pretty heavy themes. It may trigger those who have experience sexual abuse, rape, violence, basically a shitty childhood or life in general. I must be kind of messed in the head, because I thought it was a touching story full of amazing imagery and people with hearts that continue to beat and seek the beauty in the world in spite of life grinding them into nothingness. Apparently some early reviewers have found mainly the darker elements, so consider this your warning, for what it's worth. This is not a fairy tale, this is what happens when the music ends and life goes on after the credits roll. This is about simply existing until you find yourself and write your own happily ever after, no matter what form it takes.

I would best describe this as a modern rendition of Beauty and The Beast vs Red Riding Hood and the Wolf vs Bonnie and Clyde… Be ready for the ride of a lifetime since you have probably never read anything like this in your life! If you have read Tears of Tess (by you know who), well just make it a bit darker and you have “The Beast”.
Dimitri also known as “The Beast” is a big shot member amongst the Russian mob scene and is getting more and more important every day. All of which causes his boss to act against him and lead to Dimitri getting his nickname; what that’s all about? Read it and weep people! ;-) I’ve been sitting with my mouth wide open throughout the entire book – there is continuously happening something that’ll shock the life out of you!
Enter – Columbia – Our raven haired princess. She too comes from a dark past and is now trying to find her way in life. One day during one of her meetings with her activist group, she offers herself to go up into “The Belly of the Beast” and confront him about one of his development projects. All that follows next will cause you to be sitting and contemplating about what the hell this is all about – The good, the bad and the ugly…
Even though the story was pretty dark at times it made me wanting more. It is like one of those stories’s you’d love to hate – the story feels kind of forbidden… But yet you’ll end up liking it and it did get my panties up all hot and bothered ;-)
Oooh and that ending sooo made me think of Bonnie & Clyde in some ways! ;-)
So buckle up and get ready to enter a twisted tale of murder, sex and a whole lot of action!
