Those first few pages were shocking as hell! I felt soo bad for him... I hate bullies and for sure when they pick on people without reason! What they did to him was so cruel, you'll be shocked beyond believe..
When we first get to meet the girls, you will not like how he treats them but in the end you'll get why he did what he did. Slowly, but surely they start to open up and become real people again. It's only by the end of the book we get to know how their lives were before William.. By then you'll find that William is not the cruel person you thought he was but that he is a man to find redemption for 13 girls... He literally saved their lives!
Over the weeks he and number 13 form a bond that'll slowly start healing them both... Will they find comfort and love with each other? Check out the book! :-)

Completely in love with this story and William, Bella Jewel has never disappointed she always deliver a great story with meaning, beautifully written featuring amazing strong characters.
I read a few reviews on goodreads that compared this to the Tears Of Tess by Pepper (which I have not read) so I can't really comment but to me it was original and unique most books love to dwell in the darker side of the human nature but Number 13 is so much more than that.
William has always being different and for his differences he paid a mighty price that changed who he is and the course of his life forever.

About the Author
Bella Jewel is an Aussie girl through and through. She spent her life in Western Australia, growing up in many different areas of the state. She now currently lives in Perth with her husband, children and mass amounts of pets. She's crazy, fun, outgoing and friendly. Writing is her passion, she started at the young age of 18 but finally got the courage up to publish, and her first novel Hell's Knights was released in August 2013.
