A Cry for Help
It only takes one phone call, and Navy SEAL Drake Avery is rushing back to Tennessee in the middle of the night. His sisters are in danger, and he will do whatever it takes to protect them.

A New Twist

Now is not the time for a relationship, but damned if Drake doesn’t cross paths with a smokin’ hot kindergarten teacher named Karen Eastman. Miss Eastman has Drake thinking naughty thoughts when he needs to have his head in the game. He never thought he’d be hot for teacher.

Demons from the Past
Part of the hell of going home is that you know everyone and they know you. Just when you think you can trust someone, they can turn on a dime. Old and new enemies are thrilled to discover Drake has a beautiful new weakness—Karen. But messing with the women in his life is a mistake. You mess with the bull, you get the horns.

I thought this story was great, I loved Drake, his team, the Avery sisters and Karen. Fast paced and full of surprises this book KICKED A$$ in more ways than one!

Drake is a Navy SEAL, this was a career he was given a chance at as a life line but its now his life along with his sister. They have been apart for years, he provides for them and will do anything to protect them. Its a phone call from his baby sister Piper that sees him return home. Their father has been released from prison and he is on the war path. Going home is not safe for him but that doesn't stop him.

Back on his home turf and having his sister with him, he needs to come up with a plan and quick. He knows he cant do everything himself and he asks his friends for help.

Karen is a Kindergarten teacher and she is also Pipers mentor of sorts so when Piper needs her help she goes to great lengths to do so. Arriving at the safe house and coming face to face with Drake she is a total goner. He sparks a fire of need and want in her, he is everything that she never wanted and it seem she is not the only one feeling the attraction.

Drake is knocked on his A$$ when Karen is stood before him. So when the following day Drake receives a phone call to say that Karen is in trouble he races right there to protect her too. Karen has no option but to stay with Drake and his sisters, she also has no chance of staying away from Drake the pull is too much and very soon they are working at being a couple.

Drake is very alpha and like to be top dog, however Karen has older brothers just like him and she handles him perfectly. The Avery sisters are definitely no push over either, they have the same protective streak in them as Drake so this makes for some very interesting reading.

There is something big going down on the town and The Avery's and their friends are not safe. There are so many players Drake and his men must play the game and pick off the pawns to get to the king. Its a race against time and very dangerous, will everyone come out unhurt and will they get the HEA they all deserve.
