Once again Meghan has provided us with a kick a$$ book. With characters that are easy to relate too, I soon became emotionally invested in their story.
This friends to lover story is unique and fast paced. There is also the forbidden aspect to this book too. Tucker should be off limits, he once the boyfriend of Emma's best friend Sadie.
Emma finds herself look for a new home when her and her room mate receive an eviction notice. In her last year at nursing school and struggling to find somewhere and fast, she decides to hang out with her friends and drown her sorrows.
Its at the bar when she sees Tucker. With lots of alcohol and a loose tongue, Tucker is told all about her troubles and its not long before he offers her his spare room.
Tucker cant believe his own ears when he invites Emma to stay. Living in the house he bought for him and his ex girlfriend and baby that they lost. He lives a subdued life filled with grief and pain
Emma has no choice but to accept Tuckers offer and it soon becomes very clear that they are attracted to one another. But the both have hang ups Tucker is still in love with his ex (or so he thinks) and Emma knows that he should be off limits.
But we all know that the forbidden fruit is the best fruit.

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if "It's Raining Men" starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
