BLOG TOUR ~ MIA AND THE BAD BOY {BACKSTAGE PASS #2} BY LISA BURSTEIN
Mia and the Bad Boy (Backstage Pass #2)
Release Date: 05/19/15
Entangled Crush
Ryder Brooks is living the dream—he’s famous, loved by millions of girls, and miserable. All he really wants is to write his own music, not Seconds to Juliet’s sugary sweet pop. In order to do that, though, the “bad boy” of the band will have to play by the rules. And that includes behaving with his new—and super cute—über-good-girl tutor.
Mia Reyes is in fangirl heaven. Tutoring her favorite member of her favorite band? It’s a dream come true…until it turns into a complete nightmare. Ryder is nothing like she thought. He’s crude, arrogant, and pretty much a total jerk. And the worst part? She’s roped into pretending to be his girlfriend so that
no one finds out he’s being tutored. Fake kisses, plenty of PDA, and even sharing his hotel room…
But sometimes even the baddest of bad boys needs a little redemption.

This book was a fun read. Their story is pretty predictable but don’t let that put you off.
Their chemistry is off the chart, there is an instant attraction for both of them but the love takes time
to grow. Whilst it is a fast paced book it is a slow paced love that becomes very true.
Mia is a good girl. Her parents have set the bar high and she does everything within her power to
reach it even if it meant putting her own goal on hold.
She accepts the offer of having her college fees paid in full ad in return she must tutor the bad boy of pop so he can obtain his GED.
How hard can it be…..VERY when he is your pop idol and you have a major crush on him?
Ryder is a bad boy. He lives for music but not the type he is contracted to play. He wants to write and perform solo, have is say in what way his career should move forward but this is hard for the boy
who doesn’t have the best reputation or the right education. He needs a tutor, someone who will put up with his bull shit and remain a secret at the same time since his band mates and the world don’t
know he was a high school drop out
When they meet for the first time it soon becomes apparent to Ryder that his first idea of how to
cover that she really is isn’t going to work so he come up with the idea that she is his ‘Girlfriend’.
Mia is feisty and full of sass, she says it like she sees it and don’t take no shit (why can she e the 7same with her parents). She agrees to the Idea but she doesn’t like it. Soon they find themselves
both falling for one another but there are secrets that could ruin them both and their relationship.

She wrote her first story when she was in second grade. It was a Thanksgiving tale from the point of view of the turkey from freezer to oven to plate. It was scandalous.
