I don’t even know where to start with this
review as I cant find the right words to do this book justice. My heart broke
for Braunwyn nobody should have to go through her troubles but sadly some do
and they way her frends and Gran help her and her daughter is a sign of true
friendship. When Levi joins the story we find a true diamond in the rough, he
has his own beliefs and knows what he wants from life but things change and
sometimes for the better.
Braunwyn’s life is shattered when she finds her
Fiancé after he commits suicide and to top it all off she is heavily pregnant
with his child and his and her family blame her. With nowhere else to turn she
goes to live with her gran and becomes good friends with the neighbor. When
Braunwyn has her baby they are her support network. Braunwyn wants to make
something of her life but to do so she has to attend college but she needs money
too so she decides to look for a job.
Levi owns his own bar, he is a very devoted
landlord and his pub is his girl. When He interviews for staff he is shocked to
find Braunwyn on the other side of the desk after thinking she was a he. But
there is something about her which he is very drawn too.
After securing the job Braunwyn is quick to
friend-zone Levi even though her heart eats to a different tune now that he is
in her life. Even though Levi very much wants Braunwyn he is willing to take
things slow and wait but he will only wait so long. He is smitten but knows she
is hiding something.
When secrets come to light and truths are told
will these two ever make it as a couple, will they remain friends or is the
past just too much for them. Levi want to show Braunwyn that what happened in
the past wasn’t her fault and that she deserves to be loved or will everything come
crashing down around them.

Levi and Braunwyn’s love story is inspired by events that impacted the lives of people I care about deeply.
