Rewriting Destiny

When life gives you lemons, it’s time for shots of tequila. That’s my new saying in life, and trust me, life handed me lots of lemons.

For eighteen years I took those lemons that life and “destiny” threw at me and made lemonade, but I’m no longer a naive girl. I was forced to grow up too fast and the one person I depended on turned his back on me. So now I say screw the lemonade and just give me a bottle of tequila, because I don’t believe in destiny anymore.

There is no pre-designed path set out for each of us. Sometimes bad things happen, it’s just a part of life. It sucks, but you have to pick yourself up and get on with your life. I’m done just sitting around and waiting for my life to change or something good to just fall in my lap. It took me awhile to understand, but once I was done being the doormat to destiny, it was time for me to take control. I would decide where I would go in life and what would happen. It wouldn't always be pretty, it would sometimes hurt like hell, but I would make sure I lived my life to the fullest.

It time to rewrite destiny.

This series is gonna be one hell of a ride if this back story is anything to go by. Shelly has set the bar high and the pace fast. With twists and turns on every page as a reader you just dont know what way is up anymore.

Zane, Zeke and Danielle have been best friends for year. When tragedy stuck and Zeke was ripped away from them their bond grew stronger. Zane and Danielle loved one another but never gave it room to grow. Danielle is no stranger to being abandoned first her mum, then her father, Zeke and grandmother. Zane has always been a constant but recently the one person she felt she could rely on has become distant. Zane wants to do what is right but always ends up doing it wrong.  After Danielle goes through yet another life changing event, this pair go their separate ways. To much has gone on, to many wrongs to right, to much hurt to heal.

Danielle is alone in a strange place when she stumbles across Mack the prez of The Forsaken Sinners MC.

Its with the MC Danielle becomes Dani and boy is she a treat. Gone is the easy going, soft and sensitive girl we know she is now sassy, feisty and foul mouthed. She don't take shit from anyone but she feels safe , wanted and loved. Its amazing the change in someone when they get everything they deserve.  She owns her own Tattoo shop, She has finally found her family and home.

When she receives a call from Mack telling her he has sent a new club member over to get his tat...she is more than surprised when she sees Zane (Road name Blaze) standing in front of her. She is pissed and sends him packing.

Blaze is shocked to see his girl again after all these years and this time he wont let her get away...to see how their story ends one click to find out!!!

Fighting Destiny

Toby has always been the quiet one unless he needed to be heard. He lives and breathes his club and fighting - in or outside of the cage. But that all means nothing when Sara walks into his gym for a self-defense class he's teaching. Wither her, he feels at peace, which isn't something he's ever felt before.

Sara was always a doormat and a pushover. But after years of being abused, both physically and emotionally, she decides to leave her boyfriend. In order to do that though, she has to leave what few friends she still has, her job and her apartment behind. She flees from New York to California, hoping that it is far enough away he won't find her.

They meet when they never expected it. But when they are together, they feel things they have never felt before. Can they survive when Sara's past clouds their present? Can Sara get over Toby's hard exterior? Or will they only hurt each other beyond repair?

It's time to decide if they will follow what fate has set out for them or if they will both be in for the fight of their lives; Fighting Destiny.

I couldn't wait to read Toby's story. As a man who keeps himself to himself he intrigued me. Toby and Sara are believable and they kept me engrossed.

Sara has had a rough life but now she is taking it back and owning it. After suffering at the hands of her ex boyfriend she refuses to play the victim again. Arriving in California with very little she knows she must find a job so she can provide for herself.

Toby was working at the gym the first time he set eyes on Sara whilst she was taking part in a self defence class. He knew straight away that she had secrets and her walls were built high, but he still felt drawn to her.

Toby has been thinking alot lately at one time the MC and his brothers were all he needed but after seeing Blaze and Dani he keeps questioning himself. Could he ever really have this type of relationship? Is he good enough?

Sara finds herself in trouble whilst at work as a waitress, the man is a bit too hands on for her liking but before the situation escalates a night in tattered leather arrives. Toby is furious that Sara was in this situation and Sara is shocked to see him again.

This couple have chemistry but whilst Toby wants to protect, own and love, Sara wants to be independent and strong. Can this couple put their [asts behind them and move on together or are this couple destined to be alone.

Defying Destiny

Twenty-six-year-old Louie Creighton knows there is something inside him he can’t control…

Ever since he can remember, Louie has had a short fuse. People always said he’d amount to nothing. He wasn’t smart enough to get into college. He wasn’t tough enough to be a Marine. No one believed in him.

No one except his father, Mike Creighton…

Louie’s father always taught him to turn the other cheek. He was a true mentor, teaching him how to be a man in a world of cowards. But when his father is murdered the day after scratching a winning lottery ticket, Louie’s inner monster can’t be contained. He becomes determined to track down the suspect at any cost. All along, he struggles to live by his father’s motto—To find out what you live for, you have to discover what you’d die for.

Then he meets Harlow McPherson…

Her entire life has been a battle. Harlow grew up in the system, bouncing from one foster home to the next. Most weren’t that bad, but some were hell.

The only comfort was the fact she wasn’t alone. Her twin brother, Hendrix, was always there—until he took his own life years later, abandoning Harlow in a cruel world. Unable to forgive, it’s Louie who reminds her there’s still hope.

When Louie unleashes his inner monster, and Harlow finally faces her demons, will they lose themselves to the darkness, or risk it all Defying Destiny?

This book was deep, and I was sucked in completely. Their story is heartbreaking and the strength that they show throughout left me with hope. I aint gonna lie there were times i was crying and my heart was in my throat and times I was screaming at them to just get their shit together already but either way I loved it.

Louie has had his fair share of struggles lately first there was the hookup with Dani years ago which resulted in him having feelings for her but they were never reciprocated. He has had to watch her with Blaze and that stings a little. He works along side Dani as a tattoo artist and this is where he met Harlow. Dani bought Harlow in to work as a receptionist and just when Louie starts to think maybe she could be someone special she disappears with only a small note explaining nothing.

Louie struggles to open up to people so this has left him with a bitter taste in his mouth and an anger issue that is at boiling point. He has started to push people away again and he isn't the nicest person to be around.

Harlow is back, she dosnt know why she just knows this is her safe place and somewhere she can call home. Whilst Harlow was away she has had togo through some heart breaking things but that is just on top of everything that has gone on in her life.

Harlow loves Louie but after everything that has happened she is reserved she dosnt know how to move forward and she cant comprehend why anyone would want something thats broken. Louis needs answers but he knows he has to tred lightly. He wants to be her man, he wants her anyway he can have her.

With this couple finding even ground and lying things on the line it finally looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel...However a storm is brewing and its heading straight for them!!!

Born Into Destiny

An uncertain future is all Dani DeChenne ever expected—and she was right.

A woman usually has a sixth sense about being pregnant. But a tattoo artist who never intended on being a mother—not so much. Instead, she passes out at the gym, and her boyfriend, Zane Hendricks, is the first to find out while she is still unconscious.

To say Zane is over the moon would be an understatement. But Dani’s lonely childhood with an absent mother makes her afraid of becoming a parent herself. What if she sucks at it and her child ends up hating her?

With every fear, there’s hope for a brighter future.

Once Dani gets over the shock, her heart is set on the family she and Zane will build together. But the bliss is short-lived as her pregnancy progresses and Zane’s duties keep him away. Depression sets in, and Dani feels more alone than ever.

It isn’t until an old high school friend drifts into town that Dani has someone to talk to. Jax Reynolds is there on business, looking for a permanent job in security. When Zane catches wind of some guy hanging around his pregnant girlfriend, hospitality flies out the window. But by some miracle, the three become good friends, and Dani finally has the stability she always wanted.

Or so she thought.

When tragedy strikes, every second makes the difference between a bright future or a disastrous fate. And beyond the immediate danger threatening to ruin Dani and Zane’s lives, an even more treacherous secret might be the one thing that can destroy it all forever.

Tagline: Destiny isn’t made, it’s born.

This is Zane and Dani story as they continue their journey to parenthood. Nothing is ever easy for this couple and to become parents so soon into an already very new and volitile relationship makes for some exciting reading.

Imagine finding out your going to be a parent whilst your partner is unconscious well this is what happened to Blaze and to say he is shocked is an understatement. When Dani wakes and is told the news so many things run through her head and the main thing is will she be a good mum.

This couple come to terms with the news and in time see it for the gift it truly is and they embrace the next stage of their life...but its not that easy Dani turns into a hormonal beautiful mess and Blaze takes Hot alpha male to a whole new level, He is dominant, pushy and becomes irrational. Dani and his baby are his main priority. Add that to Blaze seems to be keeping secrets and Dani's insecurities start to take over.

When a face from their past comes into town the boat is rocked further. Secrets will come to light and truths told.

Will this couple ever get their HEA and how will this baby come into the world???

I grew up in a small town in Iowa. I have 2 older sisters and amazing parents. Growing up, I was always a daddy’s girl, hanging out with him in the garage, fishing, and building stuff. I loved to play softball and swimming, but reading, telling stories, and writing were my passion, even at a young age. I took a break from writing for a while, but you could always find me with a book in my hand.

I have three children – two boys and a girl. They are my whole world. Even when I’m having the worst day ever, they brighten up my day and make me smile.

A few years ago, there was this story that would always play out in my head and no matter how many times I went through it, from beginning to end, it would never fade. So I decided to put it on paper. I didn’t plan on publishing it, but when it was almost done, a friend asked to read it. She said it was a story that needed to be shared. And that’s what started my writing career.

I love all genres of books, and even though I started with writing MC Romance, I have a whole book of ideas, so you can expect more from me than just MC, though romance is in my blood.

Even though I currently work two jobs, my ultimate dream is to become a full time author. I want to be able to spend my days filling pages with stories. I want to be the reason people find a reason to smile or laugh from lines on a page. Reading a book allows me to live in someone else’s shoes, even if only for a few minutes. It’s a way to leave my life and troubles behind and I want to be help others do that as well.
