Wow, what a series Reckless Beat is !! I have just read the first 3 and I can not wait to read the rest. Eden Summers has nailed this series and it has everything you want in a Rockstar Romance. The characters in this series are amazing and you will be routing for each and every one of them. Right from the first book Alana and Mitchell have you hooked, I loved the mix of Alana's secluded upbringing with very few males in her life and a mother who has drummed into her that all males are bad and she has been kept away from them as much as possible, Mitch on the other hand is the lead guitarist for Reckless Beat and has woman falling at his feet and lets just say has had plenty of experience. When Mitch picks Alana out of the crowd at her first ever concert she is amazed that a sexy, hot famous guitarist wants to get to know her ! The chemistry between Mitch and Alana is instant and this book has some great hot sex scenes that will have you blushing ! Dating a pop star is never going to be easy and shy Alana is unsure if she can handle all the attention that will be coming her way but Mitch is determined to make Alana his no matter what it takes. I'm so glad that i had the second book of the series ready to read immediately after finishing Blind Attraction as I couldn't wait to read more about Mitch's other band mates.
Passionate addiction is the second book of the Reckless Beat Series and it doesn't disappoint, what I loved about the series is that the author has you routing for each and every character, Gorgeous alpha males with a soft heart leaves you melting and really connecting with the characters. Blake's story pulls at your heart strings, he has fallen in love with a girl who he has fully opened his heart to on the internet, she knows his past and doesn't judge him but his past can catch up with him and ruin his future if his sordid past was revealed. Blake decides to go to the other end of the world to surprise the Gabrielle on her birthday, he knew there would be no other girl for him and meeting her wont change his feelings for her no matter what she is like. Gabrielle has fallen for Blake and cant believe when Blake turns up for her birthday night out. Its not long before you know that they are meant to be ! Blake has nothing to hide from Gabrielle, she knows everything and has been his rock and he couldn't of gotten out of the trouble he was in if it wasn't for her. They fit perfectly together and nothing can destroy what they have. Blake's past is threatening to rear its ugly head and he is determined to protect Gabrielle from this and decides to deal with this himself but manages to push her away and makes things much worse and now he could lose not only Gabrielle but it could be the end of his career in Reckless Beat. I loved this book just as much as the first and again thank god i have the next book to read straight away, I don't think i could wait any longer to find out what happens next !
Once you get to Reckless Weekend you will be completely hooked !! I love all the characters and Eden has done an amazing job of bringing the group together and make you think that you are apart of the group of friends that are there for each other no matter what, they are more like a family than friends and the banter that they have will have you literally laughing out loud so be careful where you are when reading these books :). The book is all about the wedding of Mitch and Alana and i found that this was my favorite so far. Their antics on the bachelor/bachelor-ette nights are hilarious. Along with the funny parts of the story there is also the dramas that follow Reckless Beat that keeps you turning the pages very quickly to see what unfolds next. The steamy sex scenes are very hot through out all 3 books. I'm struggling to do the books justice! The mix of bad boys, romance, heartbreak is perfect. These books are a must read !! I will be reading the full series and Eden Summers has become one of my top authors.
