Mercy Amare never ceases to amaze me!

Char has a less than perfect life. Seriously having money and famous sisters is a pain in the ass. Her mom only cares when it comes to modeling or acting and her dad is practically nonexistent  Her only way of releasing her frustration is surfing the California waves and hanging out with her best friend Aaron.

"I do know how she is. Nosey,  pushy, and she has this uncontrollable need to marry all three of us off. She told me when I was sixteen if I wanted to get married she would sign for me. Like, seriously? Let me grow up first. Maybe graduate high school?"

When some circumstances force her to move to New York to live with her dad, her life will completely change.

"Okay," I say. I can do five things. "I'm Charlotte York." I hold up one finger. "I'll be eighteen on September twenty second." I hold up two fingers. "I surf." Three fingers. "I'm here because I was caught smoking weed." Four. "And I hate New York City." Five.

Then there is the best part about New York, Tristan. Honestly the first couple of seconds when he opened his mouth, I hated him. Then when he stopped acting like a douche bag, I completely fell head over heels in love with him.

Char is an amazing book. It is written from Char's point of view. I would love to more of what Tristan was thinking in the book though. Mercy always blows me away with her books. I don't think she could write a book i would not like. I so completely recommend this book and cannot wait to read many more of her books!
