This Much Is True
Fate brings them together
Fame & lies keep them apart
One truth remains…
She’s become the Paly High girl with the most tragic story…
At 17, Tally Landon just wants to graduate and leave for New York to pursue ballet. Her best friend Marla convinces her to attend one last party—a college party—where she can be among strangers and evade the whisperings about the heartbreaking loss of her twin that follows her everywhere she goes. She meets Lincoln Presley, Stanford’s famous baseball wonder and has a little fun at his expense—when she lies about her age and who she really is—intent on being someone else for the night and escaping her tragic story.
His only focus is baseball, but he can’t forget the girl he saved on Valentine’s Day…
At 22, Lincoln Presley’s star is on the rise—about to finish at Stanford and expected to be taken early in Major League Baseball’s upcoming draft—his cousin’s party serves as a welcome distraction. But then, he sees the girl from Valentine’s Day that he saved from that horrific car accident and can’t quite hide his disappointment when she appears to look right through him and not remember him at all. He vows to learn her name at least before he leaves. What’s the harm in getting to know this girl? What’s the worst that can happen?
Fate soon tests these star-crossed lovers in all kinds of ways...
And yet, despite the lies being told to protect the other, and the trappings of fame that continually separate them, and in lieu of the deception by those they’ve come to trust the most; one truth remains.
This much is true.
Caution: This title contains some strong language, some violence, and some sexual situations and is intended for readers 18+ in age.
Oh my mother fucking gosh, this book is fucking out of this world AWESOME. From the start I knew I was in for a rocky road I just never expected it to be SO MUCH SO and this AMAZING. For the first 20% you can pretty much guess what's going to happen. Then boom nothing; the books goes off like the forth of July fire works, and you have no fucking clue what us around the corner its like a gale force wind mixed with one hell of a TORNADO picked me up and swept me along its blustery journey of destruction and so much more.
I honestly don't know where to start without giving too much away. And that my friend would be a real tragedy because this is just one of those book you need to read for yourself.
So much happened......like A Freaking lot just when you think things are going to slow down there is another twist and turn just some JAW DROPPING cluster fuck really
This story extracted every single reaction possible, I got angry, pissed, happy, crying, sad, anxious. Devastated, shock, bewildered, just everyone possible, it was truly a roller coaster ride that I will never ever forget. This is joining my little gems list because it exceeded all bounds and limitation. The story and the writing is flawlessly devastating that hit at the centre of my souls holding me captive with boundless perfection and an effortless flow.
I tried to write this review a few times but just was not happy with it really. No words will be enough to do justice to this level of story telling and creativity.
This book is not for the faith of Heart. If your looking for a light read that follow conventions then this is not for you. This is for the readers that are looking for a book that will take their breath away, have you hyperventilating digging your fingers into your hands clenching to the end of your seats. Then This is your book.
It's books like this that made me want to blog in the first place. Finding that previous gem in the midst of millions of others. I am so happy and joyous with this book. That I want to shout from the rooftops for everyone to read this IT
I died a thousand deaths reading this booking and waiting for HEA ending At points I lost all hope of ever getting the ending I so wanted for both Linc and Tolly.
That's all I have to say about the plot. You want to know what happens that buy and read this wonderful book in guarantee you will not regret it but re-reading and telling all your friends about it.
The writing is something to be admired, it has rhymes, rhythm, make it metaphors and similes I have never heard before. Descriptions can be so robotic, boring and mundane but Katherine has a real talent her descriptions are like ripples trickling down a water fall or the ocean impossibly perfect waves ohh man just Amazing.
Katherine Owen, you should be so proud of yourself right now. You have achieved what so many only dream of doing creating something truly spectacular and worthy to have the praises like great and outstanding proclaimed upon it. I don't have enough praise to give to this book and it's author. I have a new addition to my little Gems so it's not even a question weather or not I recommend because I could not recommend any more even if I tried.

Dark. Edgy. Contemporary. Romantic. Were we describing me? Or my fiction? Sorry.
I drink too much...coffee, not enough water. I swear too much for God and my mother, and I slip these into my fiction. Sorry.
I'm impatient, a perfectionist, a wordsmith, a dreamer, which ends up being good and bad. I'm a workaholic; ask my "fam-dam-ily".
I've written four novels in as many years: "When I See You, "Not To Us", Seeing Julia" as well as my latest release "This Much Is True" (which hit #1 on Amazon best seller lists for Sports Romance, Holiday Romance within a week of its release). Competitive; much, KO? Oh yes.
