Fight.

It’s an action some encourage and others dissuade. Since the day I was born, fighting has been instilled into my mind. Regardless of your opinion, it’s something we all do. At some point in time, consciously or subconsciously—either emotionally, physically, or spiritually—we struggle. Many will strive to withstand their battles, but only those who were born to fight will overcome them.

A true fighter lacks weakness. They abstain from carelessness and refrain from trusting their opponents, but most importantly, they never accept defeat.

I am a true born fighter. Each second of every day, I fight. Rip the ones I love most away from me, I kill. If I’ve learned anything from this life, it’s to always expect the unexpected. As long as my heart continues to beat, and no matter the costs, I will be victorious.

It has taken me a while to feel composed enough to write this review. I couldn’t decide on weather to give it 4 or 5 stars and the only reason for this is the 10 year jump that happens right at the beginning. Everything that I read on the pages of this book had me gripped and my emotions were all over the place. I felt the butterflies in my stomach, I had the missing heartbeats and I ugly cried at the gut wrenching moments so for me I based my rating on the story that followed. A word of warning to all you reader have you tissues at the ready and make sure you have plenty of them!!!!

When Blaze first sees Madisyn he knows she is the woman he is going to spend forever with. Madisyn’s world has been torn apart by the loss of her parents and the last thing she expected was the instant connection she felt for Blaze.

“Do you want to know what I see when I look into your eyes, Madisyn?” My face confined by his brawny hands, I breathe out, “YES”

I feel his tongue skim my lips as he wets his. And though I try my best not to, I moan. He chuckles and softly says, “When I look in your eyes, I see hope, vulnerability, ultimate and irrepressible passion, and call me crazy, but I see a future – MY future.”

THIS WAS THE MOMENT I REALISED, I WAS HOOKED. THIS BOOK WAS GOING TO BE READ IN ONE SITTING BECAUSE I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH OF BLAZE!!!!

Fast forward 10 years and they are still as strong as ever but they have still had their fair share of heartache to get through together but they seem to have come out stronger.

But life has other ideas and whilst they are trying to support Blaze’s sister and her son through a hard heartbreaking time and to both suffer another great loss. With all this happening they have failed to see that there is a much deadlier situation in front of them that could rip them apart from one another in the most horrendous way.

Madisyn was such a strong character who had really been through some hard times. She suffered loss on a massive scale but with the love of her family and he husband Blaze she continued to see the good that they were blessed with and refused to be beat down. Blaze was a beautiful character to read about he was strong and dominant when needed but his passion and love for his family and wife Madisyn made me swoon. He was the perfect man, she was the perfect woman and together they made the perfect couple

Julie resides in a small town just outside of Nashville, TN. Living with her husband, twin boys, and prissy princess; she's always on the move. She enjoys any and all things chocolate.
