In a world of wealth and power, the rules of love and war are nothing as they seem.

Nora Randolph never wanted a life of luxury. But when her mother falls in love with the heir to the British throne, their small-town lives are uprooted and every little girl’s fantasy becomes her reality. All too quickly, she learns the dangers of running in circles with the world’s elite, especially when she attracts the attention of Winston Academy’s resident golden boy.

Asher Frederick has known nothing but favor and fortune. The son of London’s most influential family, his future has been written in stone since infancy. But a tragic childhood loss redirects his course, and revenge has been boiling in his blood for years. When innocent and unaware Nora lands in his path, it’s as if the universe hands him the ammunition to finally drag his enemy through the mud.

But as his plan for vengeance gets more twisted, so do his feelings for Nora. And as her immersion into the upper crust dives deeper, she struggles to keep the secret she’s been guarding for eighteen years.

Heavy lies the crown, and when the ultimate betrayal blindsides her, will either of them survive the consequences that come crashing down on their heads?

"Simpler times are over, and this is our reality. It may be a privileged, beautiful one, but I know it will complicated and flawed."

I mean, how beautiful is this written?

Privileged might be centered around high schoolers but it doesn't feel like you are reading a "young" book. Yes, there is the usual drama and intrigue but you also feel a sense of adulthood and maturity.

The main plot in this book, that sets the premise for the story, is quite the scandal, definitely when you know how the aristocracy would feel when this would come out.

Our two main characters might come together on a false note but when it comes down to real feelings, we all know they can come crashing at you in the most unexpected ways.

Nora and Asher's relationship will be rough, adventurous and will push them both over the edge.

How, what, who and why? Read and find out!

Privileged is a book that snuck up on me and above all felt like you were reading something new and fresh. I highly recommend!

Asher was out for revenge, he has been left without a mother and his father was a bitter man who wanted his son to gain revenge on the man that ripped his family apart.

Nora and her mum were very close and there is nothing she wants more than to see her mum happy but this came at a cost to her. They were moving to London and were being brought into royalty when her mum was to marry the man who has stole her heart. Nora was a quiet girl who kept herself to herself and did as much as possible to remain in the shadows.

Asher's plan was ready, his victims would be close soon  and he couldn't wait to put his plan into action, he was going to destroy Nora and her family and she had no idea that her family and her heart were in danger.

Asher's plan started well, that was until Nora was starting to win his heart, he was falling for her but his end goal was too big for him to back out now. Little did he think of how he was going to feel after it had all been revealed, he definitely didn't expect his own heart to be on the line.

Can Nora forgive him, can he forgive himself.......

When i first started reading this book I really wasn't sure and didn't feel hooked from the start, I felt it was a little bit of a slow burner - just my opinion, however the story soon warmed up and i found that by the end i really enjoyed it. Very well written  and would recommend this book. You may not like some of the characters at the start but they are all lovable by the end.
