RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW ~ DATING THE BILLIONAIRE by Poppy Dunne
Title: Dating the Billionaire
Author: Poppy Dunne
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: July 12, 2017
Blurb
I'm Dahlia Rossi, dating coach extraordinaire. I know how to land you
the man of your dreams. Follow my rules, you'll meet the love of your life and
have a gorgeous destination wedding in French Polynesia. Okay, that last one
happened just the one time. But my rules work every time. I
guarantee it.
1. The man makes the first move. Seems unfair? Life's unfair.
2. Never have sex on the first date. No, not even oral. And hands above the
table, please.
3. Play hard to get, but don't make it too hard.
Solid rules, right? I thought they were. But then I met Jack Carraway,
an impossibly sexy, frustratingly unpredictable billionaire, and broke them
all. Everywhere. In an elevator. On a balcony. Beneath a
gazebo, of all places.
Whether I like it or not (spoiler alert: I like it!), Jack is taking me on wild
adventure and we're writing a whole new set of rules. Like, always reserve your
matching Harry Potter costumes a week in advance; wrestling swans is not as
easy as it looks; and sometimes, the man of your dreams pops up in the most
unlikely of places and has a really big...boat.
After years of watching couples find love, it may be my turn. But is
this spontaneous playboy the real thing, or just a fun detour around my
predictable life? All this time I've been following my own rules and going to
sleep alone, with nothing but my second slice of princess cake to keep me
company.
But the more time I spend with Jack, the more I learn that
rules...they're meant to be broken.
In love there's only one rule: there are no rules.

This book is the perfect book for a day chilling on the couch. Its light hearted, funny and gets your pulse racing!
Dahlia Rossi has a rule for everything and she sticks to those rules, always, especially when it comes to men! She’s even made a living out of getting other women to play by her rules so they can find the love of their life and it always works, so why is she still single when she follows the rules to the letter? At a charity ball Dahlia meets Jack Carroway and all her rules are thrown out the window, he’s spontaneous and fun and definitely a rule breaker! Can Dahlia embrace this lifestyle or will her rule book keep her on the straight and narrow?
Jack Carroway is a cocky, arrogant billionaire, if he sees something he wants he takes it regardless of the consequences, he can live his life as recklessly as he wants because he can afford to have the best team behind him to clean up his mess. Crossing paths with Dahlia Rossi has been the most exciting thing to happen to him in ages and he’s happy to show off his wealth if it gets this women where he wants her, in his bed! But Dahlia isn’t like all those other women, he’s knows about her rules and is happy to help her break them one rule at a time. But can Dahlia survive in Jacks almost fictional world where rules don’t apply or will Jack need to step back in to reality?
Poppy Dunne has written a quirky, witty romance that will have you laughing through out. Dahlia and Jack are both strong characters who are vulnerable at the same time but for completely different reasons. Dahlia is 32 and still hasn’t settled down, she’s feeling pressure from her family to find her perfect man but surely if she sticks to her rules she will find him, right? Jacks gone from zero to hero, he was the nerd at school who everyone picked on now he’s the buff billionaire without a care in the world! Well not quite. Now he’s just got himself and his brother to look out for but is he really living the dream?
My only negative about this book is that some times especially at the beginning I wasn’t really sure what day it was or how long had passed between chapters and found it slightly confusing but don’t let that put you off as it still a fantastic read.
