Andrew and Sonnet hated each other in high school. Always rivals for the best grades and top academic honors, there was no love lost between these two nerds after graduation.
Ten years later, they've both been named heirs to property in Bethany Beach, Delaware, after the passing of its owner, Penelope Vaughn. Ms. Vaughn was Andrew's great aunt and Sonnet's beloved next door neighbor growing up.
The quaint beach cottage needs serious work before going on the market. Andrew and Sonnet are both willing to bury the hatchet in exchange for drills and saws, especially since they stand to make a pretty penny with the beachfront property, which will finance Drew's dream of opening a business and Sonnet's plan to earn her doctorate in astrophysics.
But when they face a multitude of home improvement obstacles, will these two former adversaries be able to pull off a successful flip? Or did Great Aunt Penny have something else in mind with her bequest?

This book was a great read and I completely got lost in Sonnet and Andrews story.
I loved the characters. Both strong independent people thriving to be the best.
Andrew and Sonnet met when they were just kids, going to the same school and both spending time with Andrew's Aunt Penny at her colorful home. They never really had a friendship though, both in competition to e the best.
Years later when they are both searching for their own dreams...they find themselves in their worst nightmare.
With the death of Aunt Penny they are shocked to find that she has left her house to them both. With nothing else for it they have to work together to FLIP the house and get it on the market as soon as possible.
Whilst working together, throws up disasters and setbacks...It also brings them closer together.
Sonnet is shocked to see how Drew has changed and she decides to put the past behind her an help him out.
Drew finds himself questioning the past and when Sonnet surprises him at every turn, he finds himself seeing her in a totally different light.
This couple are drawn to one another and soon the desire is to much to ignore. They decide to have a little fun whilst they are together, because come the end of summer, Sonnet will be gone. But not all is as it seems and soon lines get blurred and feelings come into play.
What will become of their dreams and what does the future hold????
