I really enjoy Fatalism, the who concept of faith and destiny intrigued me and this story of Vincent and Alexia.
The story line is simple to follow and very straight forward which I love because it made the book a breeze to read.
Alexia has never had a relations or been with a man more than once, due to years of verbal abuse and mistreatment she is forced to build a wall to protect herself.
On a night out she is falls into the arms of a man she feels an immediate pull towards. They share a scorching earth moving kiss and exchange first names. She is pulled from the Embrace of Vince by her best friend. The bereavement she feels is not one is used to when it come to men. She departs from him with the saddened felling that she will never see this beautiful man again who took less than 5 minutes to capture her soul mind and body.
Vincent Kane Mileski is a young successful attorney who has never lost a case which accumulated him quite the fortune. On the surface he is perfect and untouchable but he has learned to his his true torment well. His nights are plagued with nightmares and his days are spent carrying around a past betrayal which leads him to self doubt.
His first day at this new job is one he never expected or dream of.
He met a women that insatiably took away his troubles righting all the wrong and self-doubt, however their encounter was brief and she left before they were able to exchange contact details.
As faith would have it on his first day at his new office he enters the conference room to meet his new team and employees. To his shock delight sitting in the room happens to be the women he met at the club.
He pursue her with intent and purpose but his advances are meet with harsh rejection. Alexa made rules for herself which includes never dating an attorney or boss so the man that has consumed her every thought goes against all her rules.
But destiny can only be fought so much before the inevitable happens, her carefully constructed wall comes crashing down and she opens herself up to receiving and giving love.
Their relationship is mother fucking HOT JUSES I needed a cold shower after reading Collins did not hold back one bit she just left it all on the pages to burn and ignite.
The relationship between the two was not without its obstacles can they over come their issues and build a lasting relationship?!? If you want to find out you are going to need to read the book.
I gave this book 4 stars because its well written they layout and editing was of a very high standard.

SBB~Thank you so much for joining me for this interview I really enjoyed Fatalism
I loved the title why Fatalism?
LK~Thank you for having me. I'm very glad you enjoyed the book!
Alexa and Vincent's story is based around how fate brought them together. Therefor the title FATALISM fit perfectly.
The definition of Fatalism-events are fixed in advance so that human beings are powerless to change them.
SBB~I looked up the definition when I took part in the cover reveal, it had me very intrigue, do you believe in that type of fate?
LK~ I do because I have experienced it myself. My husband and I have been together for 14 years. I believe that fate brought us together.
SBB~Awwww that's so sweet so the idea for Fatalism was based on reality?
LK~No. The idea came when my husband pushed me to start writing. He and I discussed where I should start and I let the characters take it from there. The coincidence happens to be we have all experienced fate.
SBB~You created some great characters I love Alexa and Vincent. What was your process for developing them?
LK~Thank you. It took a lot to figure out who they were. I had to ask myself different things to uncover their true colors. I know how I envisioned them in my head so i did my best to portray them that way to the readers. I really asked a lot of questions, how would they react in this situation, i.e. the fight. That helped me to mold them
SBB~As a new writer how have you found the writing world?
LK~ OH MY GOD, I love the writing world. Everyone has been truly amazing. I have met some amazing people from the readers, to other authors, and the bloggers. I have learned a plethora of information.
SBB~keeping on the subject of Characters Vincent age was not mention was that deliberate?
LK~ No that was not deliberate at all. I can tell you that Vincent is 30. In the beginning I talk about Bridgette's birthday and then the girls age difference when there dad left. I never thought to elaborate more on there age. Point taken for book 2.
SBB~I really appreciate that Alexia was a real women with curves not a stick figure and is all of Vincent wealth from been a Lawyer?
LK~ I agree. I love that Alexa is NOT a stick. You can be beautiful with your own imperfections. YES, he has done extremely well for himself as a lawyer. Never losing a case and defending some big time people has paid well.
SBB~Well he has some mighty fine cars that had me slivering. Do you own any need for speed and how long did it take to complete the Novel?
LK~ I do not own any need for speed. It took me about 3 months to write it, and the entire process to get it all edited and published was 6 months.
SBB~That is very impressive for a duet novel. What is the best advice you have been given and what advice you you give to new Authors?
LK~Best advice I've been given, is to ENJOY the experience and have FUN. I would tell new Authors to be confident in their work and ask for help. There are so many willing people out there. I am one of them!
SBB~You wrote some down right HOT and dirty scenes Missy I need a cold shower. What was the like writing the sex scenes?
LK~You're not the first to need a cold shower, but imagine a hot one with Vince. Sorry I got off subject. My editor would always call me yelling OMG, I can't believe you said that. The one thing with the sex scenes is I didn't hold back. It was fun to write them.
SBB~They are some of my favorites trust me you did an AMAZING job rising the temperature a few hundred degrees. What was your favorites quote or scenes and why?
LK~Towards the end of the book the scene in the bathroom at the restaurant. I love the connection is shows and how Alexa no longer doubts or questions things with him. She wants Vince and doesn't want to wait.
I nodded my head again still biting my lip, and he slid himself into me. Once he filled me, he circled his hips pushing and expanding, touching every inch inside of me. The feeling was amazing. I dropped my head and closed my eyes tightly as he slid out slowly and thrust back inside of me.
“Look at me, baby,” he demanded.
eyes with him. His hair was messy and the small amount of facial hair I saw in the reflection was hot as hell. His brows were creased as he loved my body with his. He picked up speed and was pounding me. He showed no mercy, and I loved that. A sheen of sweat came across his forehead as he worked so hard to pleasure both of us. I clung to the sink with everything I had. The pressure from Vincent’s weight, gripping onto me and slamming into me, made me realize why he said to hold on and not let go.

SBB~What are you currently working on?
LK~Book 2 in the Life . Destiny . Fate Series. It is called Determinism and is Cara and Abel's story. Let me tell you, Abel is going to rock your WORLD!

LK~If i wanted my head on a chopping block with my editor then YES! She is strict about that, I wish I could, I really do.
SBB~BOOOO!!! you have a Fab editor. Can you tell us what to expect I need something anything throw a girl a bone.
LK~I can tell you that the attraction between them is intense. They are also HOT in the bedroom and there is a phone sex scene that is... Well lets leave it at that.
SBB~How much of Vic and Lex will we see in the new book?
LK~You will see them, but it is Cara and Abel's story so I focus on them mainly.
SBB~you have made me a very happy women and I am sure all my reads will be also. thank you so much for joining me. Can't wait to read more of your work.
