Slade is cocky as hell with a mouth that has no filter ( no alcohol necessary). Samantha is such a sweetheart, but she can give you attitude if necessary. She moved to St. Louis with her boyfriend Jax.
Slade is a party boy, and he loves a good fuck, but he is in no way picky when it comes to the girl ( as long as she is single!).Well at least until he hears that sweet voice for the first time on the phone, but shit she is calling to check up on her boyfriend. That same voice makes him not want to have sex with the girl in his bed. He just cannot get that voice out of his head.
"I've imagined her looking a hundred different ways, but when it comes down to it, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I want her."
Little did Sam know her boyfriend was cheating on her. Slade's first mistake is not telling her because she finds out the next day. She also finds out Slade knew and didn't tell her. But why?
When she finally meets Slade, she did not expect the hottie she found. She didn't know who he was at first, but when she finds out she turns into a cold hearted bitch. That doesn't stop Slade from wanting her.
"She walks past me to the dance floor without saying another word. She is going to make me work for it. I smile to myself. Challenge accepted."
Unfortunately for Sam, before she found out who he was and her bitch kicked in, she was already under his spell. She can't stand the affect he has on her.
"What was I thinking? I didn't even know who he was. And now that I do, it makes it worse. I've never been one to want someone by just looking at them. I've always tried to stray away from physical contact when it comes to the opposite sex, but with him, it's like my body wants to draw him in."
Sam knows how much of a player Slade is, but that cannot get him off her mind and out of her dreams. What would happen if she let him in? When things really start to get heated up who will pull away?
