Synopsis

Wow! Where on earth should I begin? This book is absolutely amazing.
Gabrielle and Braden are both lawyers. Gabrielle lusting after Braden, but doesn't think he could even think about her that way. Her friend Jess, however, thinks otherwise. It takes his standing so close to her in the courtroom to start questioning if he does or not.
"Don't be embarrassed He always looks at you like he wants to toss you in the jury box and have his wicked way with you. He also keeps moving closer to talk to you. I thought he was going to sit on your lap today and you obviously liked it."
Unfortunately Braden is a player, and she is not looking to be a one night stand. Been there, done that. Of course, Jess seems to think in this case that he likes her more than a one night stand. After sending notes back and forth in a bar (cheesy I know), she will find out just how much Braden likes her. Either there are a series of dates or no bedroom time. Braden can have any girl though, why would he agree to her terms?
"More likely they just blew him in the bathroom. If he asks you out on a date, Gab, then he seriously likes you. He doesn't date. He fucks."
Guess he really likes her, because, hello, they are going on a date!! Well more like having four dates. Of course, Jess can't keep in her 'I told you so" either. They leave the bar with a promise from Braden to call for their first date tomorrow. Yeah that is right he couldn't hold off too long on a first date. When he does call Gab freeze and Jess has to snap her out of it. Unfortunately, her brain didn't get the message and she cannot control her mouth.
"Well that would make a booty call very easy. Oh shit. I said that out loud too didn't I?" I heard him laugh really hard. Good, hopefully he thought I was joking."
First couple of dates go really well. They are dying to have sex though!! Unfortunately, looks like it'll happen at his parents house because they want them to stay the whole weekend since their third date is the fundraiser. That week leading up was filled with sexual tension especially in the courtroom. So much they actually ran to a interview room to manually get each other off. When they did have sex it surely blew their minds.
"Me too. And it's very primal. Like claiming your mate. Marking your territory. Male thing you know?" He had that wonderfully dazed look on his face."
At the party she meets some rather unfriendly guest. One wants Braden too herself, one that wants him for her daughter, and one major sleazy creep that wants her to himself. When she gets back home there is a note waiting on her, but who can it be from? Is it a warning so she won't get hurt, or is there someone threatening her? The biggest question will she tell Braden, or at least how long with she wait?
The Law of Attraction is written from Gabrielle's point of view. The author did an amazing job, and I just need more!! The way Gabrielle is with Braden is so out of her character, she and everyone around her are shocked. I love both of their characters, though. They are both completely 'smitten' with each other. I absolutely could not get enough!!

Silber was a criminal defense attorney who got up each morning, donned her power suit and sensible pumps, downed a gallon of coffee and set out to "fight the good fight" while trying to not go insane. Having a dark sense of humor and a sarcastic wit helped -- a lot. Another thing that helped was reading. As escapism was the goal, she liked to read romance novels, especially really funny ones and really sexy ones.
