“So here’s what I know about you,
Madison,” Sebastian started. “You’re beautiful, smart, dedicated. You have a
huge heart, a killer bod.” He sighed and shook his head. The brush of his gaze
on my body gave me the chills.
I blushed and started to fidget with the
tab on my soda can, swiveling it around in circles.
“You’d think that with all of that,” he
continued, “I wouldn’t need to know more, but I want to learn everything there
is to learn about Madison Riley Burch. I want to know you . . . inside and out.”
When two heartbroken girls are thrown into college and form a bond, you get 'The Guys Are Props Club' aka G.A.P. This club is strictly for girl that 'had their hearts stomped on, slashed or otherwise ground into tiny little bits by some worthless bastard.' These girls play the guys that are considered players.
What happens when one persons target becomes another members actual boyfriend? Meet Sebastian super sexy with clear green eyes Maddie cannot help but get lost in. That does not work for Maddie's best friend Jessica though because she has already targetted him as a player. Come on, he's extremely gorgeous, so he has to be a player.
"He looked like a predator, hungry and savage. There was no question in my mind that he wanted me."
Unfortunately for Maddie's heart, he is far from the player she accuses him of being. Day by day, he shows her he is way more genuine then she ever knew possible. Can she really continue to resist him?
"How can you say no? This... intensity isn't normal. I know you feel the same way I do. You can't say no to this."
When it comes to him though, she must resist. She cannot break her promise to herself, and risk heartache. He will not give up on them though. He knows eventually she will have to pull her head out of her ass.
"You'll say yes," he assured me. "You'll agree, because I want you whole, Madison. I don't want anything less."
Hot damnnn!!! Ingrid Seymour truly out-did herself with this book. It is written from Maddie's point of view. The characters are portrayed so very well. Maddie does drive me nuts at times, but she does develop confidence over time. Sebastian is so yummy and so sincere, yet still a flirt. Player, right? Then there is Jessica, the stuck up, snobby bitch that is definitely always right. Ha! Totally could not get enough!
