This book is Real, Raw and Very Emotional.
Their story is TRUE...Everyday people do through the same situation.
When we marry, we do so for love but its not just love that hold the marriage together, its respect, trust and communication that form the strongest bonds.
From the outside the marriage may look perfect but its what happens behind closed doors that show the truth.
This was not an easy read, emotions ran high all the way throughout but it was one of the best reads of 2017 for me. I was sucked into the story and given all the feels. I cried with the characters and for them. Cheating is not something I normally read about but the authors writing was impeccable and had me from the very first chapter.
Mariana and Santos have been together since College, married for 10 years and have 3 children. They are perfect for one another and their love for one another has ever been questioned. Mariana is the home maker, the perfect wife and mother and Santos plays professional Soccer but he is the perfect husband and the best father to his children.
Their perfect family is torn apart when Mariana discovers Santos infidelity, betrayed by the man who owns her heart she makes the decision to leave his sorry ass.
Santos is a broken man, everything that completed him left and it was all his own fault.
Mariana is fighting to find herself and make a life for her and her children but she is still madly in love with her cheating husband.
Santos wants his family back, Mariana is the only woman for him. He loves her fiercely and unconditionally yet he couldn't keep it in his pants. There was nothing special about the other woman, they were just a way of riding out his high after a game.
Mariana files for divorce but Santos wants to fight for his marriage.
Is there anyway back for this couple, does Love concur all or are somethings just too hard to forgive?
