I read the first books in this series before I started blogging then of course her many other books that she co-wrote I love also.

Shayna is a rebelling teenager. She has a life that she just doesn't quite fit in. Not in her family, school, or even church. Things just don't seem in her favor so she tries to force it. What happens when even that doesn't work? Can't force life.

Carter is Quinn's older brother. His life is less than stellar. Some of it seems to be a huge lie. When he 'hangs pig's with Shayna one night, he can't help but want more.

When their isn't any room for a relationship you desperately want, the only thing that is left is friends.

Friend is a Four Letter Word is written in first person from both Carter and Shayna's POVs. Steph does a wonderful job writing. The character really mesh will together and I cant help, but love the rest. I kinda wish I had gotten this book before I read that they lived together in Beautiful Things Never Last, but it is very good all the same. Seriously now I need more especially since I know Carter wants forever with her and a certain scene makes me want to read into their forever. Hope that doesn't say too much. Read read read!!
