COVER REVEAL~TAMING THE STORM By Samantha Towle
We are so excited to share with you the cover for book #3 in The Storm Series by Samantha Towle - Taming the Storm. This is Tom's story!!
Lyla Summers hates men. Okay, maybe hate is a strong word … Lyla intensely dislikes men.
Her father has let her down her whole life. Her brother betrayed her in the worst way possible. And her past relationship experiences with men have been less than great.
Lyla is focussing all her energy into her band, Vintage, so when they receive an offer to sign with TMS Records, it seems that things are finally turning around for her. The last thing she wants is a man getting in the way.
Tom Carter loves women. Okay, love might be pushing it … Tom enjoys screwing lots of women.
When tragedy befalls his best friend, Tom finds himself making a promise to the big man upstairs – he’ll change his ways, if he saves the woman his best friend loves.
Tom’s prayer is answered. Now he has to change. Which means no sleeping around.
After Vintage’s manager breaks her leg skiing, Tom steps in as tour manager, and Lyla finds herself on tour with the man whore of rock.
Put one perpetually horny Tom and one sex resistant Lyla together, equals a recipe for disaster. Or so you’d think…
But an unexpected friendship is formed. A closeness neither of them expected. Putting one chastity belt and one lamp that is in desperate need of rubbing, to the test.
Will the sex storm that is Tom Carter, finally find himself tamed by the rock chick with a hardened heart, or will he go back to his womanizing ways…?
Release Date: Summer 2014
**Message from Samantha: Here it is ... the first ever TAMING THE STORM TEASER!!** Now, this is Tom, so expect excessive bad language, vulgarity... you know the drill! If you're not 18+, then look away now! It's from Lyla's POV, and they're talking about Lyla's ex-boyfriend. I put this specific piece out, as I want to give you a little insight to Lyla. But anyway... I hope you enjoy it! Oh, and it's unedited, subject to change, etc.
“My ex-boyfriend, Chad … he’s bisexual. Something he failed to tell me when we got together.”
Tom snorts. “You went out with someone called Chad? Who likes cock and pussy. Don’t tell me, he played football...?”
I glance up at him through my lashes. The look on his face makes me grin. “Of course he played football.”
He lets out a laugh. “So you dumped football playing Chad because he used to bang dudes – bit harsh, Lyla. Even for you.”
“No. I dumped him because he continued to bang dudes while we were together … well, just one specific dude.” I pull in a breath. “My brother. They were screwing the whole time we were together.”
“Your brother? Shit. That’s gotta hurt. I take back the harsh,” Tom says.
Nodding, I take a large drink of my vodka, relishing the burn in my throat as I swallow.
He leans across the table, nudging my arm with his own. “Well, he must be a fuckin’ idiot to have cheated on a hot piece of ass like you.”
“Coming from you, I’ll take that as a complement.” I laugh.
“It was meant as one. And seriously, I don’t get the – dude fucking another dude – thing. Give me a tight, warm pussy any day.”
“Too much information, Tom ... and seriously you might have to turn to men when you run out of women.”
“That’ll never happen.” He grins, leaning back in his chair.
“You go through women at the speed of light. It is highly possible that you might have screwed the entire population of the US by the end of this year – excluding me of course – because that’s never gonna happen.”
“Of course.” He smirks, bringing his whiskey glass to his lips, taking a drink.
I ignore his pointed look. “Honestly, Tom, you do realise that you will run out of women at some point don’t you? What you gonna do then, start recycling?”
He clanks his glass down on the table. “Nope. I’m not an environmentally friendly kind of guy. I guess I’ll just have to move to the Canada.” He smirks. “And just so you know, I might go through a lot of women, but I fuck nice and slow … real … slow.”
An image of Tom and me, having sex flashes through my mind.
My heart speeds up. I can feel my body heating at the thought of Tom and sex and me … him and me … fucking.
I know my chest is flushed. I don’t have to look down to see. I know it is, because Tom’s eyes are on it, staring, right now.
Stupid traitorous underused, currently oversexed body.
Tom’s eyes lift, meeting mine, with knowing.
Looking away, I force my spine straight, holding the glass to my chest, trying to cool myself down. “And I need to know your screwing speed, why?”
He leans in close … real close this time, leaving our mouths millimetres apart.
I gulp down.
His hot, whiskey scented breath, blows through my parted lips and fires down signals to my, long unused girl parts, sending them into a frenzy.
Shit.
Squeezing my thighs together, I bite down on my lower lip to regain control.
I will not lose my shit over a man whore. Especially not Tom the man whore.
Definitely not Tom.
His eyes flicker down to my mouth. “You’re not ready to hear the answer to that question, Lyla.”
“And when I am?”
‘When I am?’ – What the hell am I saying! I’ll never be ready for Tom ‘fuck anything’ Carter. Ever.
He smiles. It’s lusty, but surprisingly genuine. “Well, when you are ready, let me know and I’ll tell you. Until then … use your imagination.”
He stands, running a hand through his hair. “And, Lyla, let it run wild.” With a wink, he’s gone, sauntering through the bar, leaving me and under used girl parts on fire.

It's been twelve years since Tru Bennett last saw Jake Wethers, her former best friend and boy she once loved.
Jake Wethers, sexy, tattooed and deliciously bad lead singer, and brains behind The Mighty Storm, one of the biggest bands in the world, left Tru with a broken heart when he moved from England to America with his family when they were both fourteen.
Sent to interview Jake for her music column by the magazine she works for, they are both unprepared for the sparks that fly the instant they reconnect. Only, there’s a complication to their instant feelings for one another—Will, Tru’s boyfriend of two years.
Then Jake makes Tru a job offer she can't refuse—travelling the world with him and his band. But taking the job means leaving Will behind, and being on the road with the band means spending an inordinate amount of time with Jake.
Is Tru strong enough to resist the delectable bad boy who once held her heart so completely, or will she willingly risk it all for one night with the world's most notorious womanizer?
Music journalist Tru Bennett has done the impossible: capture the heart of rock-star bad boy Jake Wethers. Now they’re busy planning a wedding and navigating their new life together in the US. Of course Tru misses London and her best friend, Simone, but living happily ever after with Jake in LA is going to be great…right?
Wrong. Even the bright California sun can’t whitewash the dark side of celebrity coupledom. Greedy music execs, merciless paparazzi, and Jake’s wild past are lurkingaround every corner. Making matters worse, Jake announces he doesn’t want kids, which just may be a deal breaker.
Tru loves Jake more than anything. But when a devastating crisis threatens to destroy everything they’ve fought for, the couple must face the hard truth: What if, this time, love is not enough?
