 Synopsis

A chance encounter can change everything.
Olivia Moore is your average hard working, down to earth, Aussie chick.
Taking each day as it comes, working in a factory, Olivia is just plodding along through life. She’s resigned herself to the fact she’s not going to get her happily ever after, a husband… kids… because she has given up on men - they lie and cheat, leaving a world of pain in their wake.
Then Olivia meets Joel.
Joel Turner is hard working, down to earth, sexy, kind, fun… in fact, he’s damn near perfect. Joel is exactly the type of man Olivia has always wanted. He stirs emotions in her that have laid dormant for years. He breaks down her walls, forcing Olivia to fall in love and to finally believe fairy tales really can come true.
Until she discovers something that could change it all.

I liked this book it was OK, Its about two ordinary people meeting by chance having an instant connect that develops to so much more and a few secrets thrown in for good measure.
Imagine meeting someone that likes all the same things you do, enjoy the same music, food and TV program etc. Well that is exactly what happens when Oliva meets Joel at a supermarket as they were both reaching for the a packet of Tim Tams. They connect right away and feels starts to develop.
"This was more than just lust, I was horny, yes, but this was so much more than that. The intensity of what I was already feeling for Joel surprised me, thrilled me, and scared the hell out of me, all at the same time.
How can I be feeling such intense feelings for someone I've only just met?"
The bond they form is to be admired it different because they are basically the same side on one coin which is not the norm, Olivia has been hurt in the past so she has reservations and trust issues going into the relationship but he does everything to reassure her of his intentions. They made a promise to always be open and honest NO SECRETS but Joel is hiding something........
Will their new love survive when Liv learns the truth.
"I went to bed wondering how and when the other shoe was going to drop and destroy my happiness.
Happiness like I'd never felt before"
Their relationship is an easy one with tender loving moments that will have you swooning at times and  laughing out loud at others. the sexual chemistry that sizzled between them is undeniable and oh so HOT
"Your tits look amazing in this. He ran a finger along the top edge of my bar. And there's something about taking you with your knickers on, having you underneath me, under my control that feels.... it fuckin' drives me wild!"
Overall, How To Liv is well written with real emotions slashed throughout the pages it all flowed well and easy to follow. The characters are likeable and down to earth  with real problems to over come. It has all the ingredients for a higher rating but I just was not crazy for the book even though I liked the characters. The plot is very plain maybe it could be that. I did not feel any spark or excitement personally but it was a well written book  with great grammar.
