This story is a little different from what I normally read, however something in the synopsis drew me in and Im glad I gave it a chance. This completely exceeded my expectations and left me hungry for the next book.
Filled with drama, twists, turns, attraction and passion it was easy to get lost in the words that flowed so easily. Some times the words left deep wounds but then they acted as a soothing balm that helped you heal.
With 2 very different people being bought together in this cat and mouse chase, it was hard to remember what the original plan really was.
Ellie seeks revenge on the man who stole everything from her at an early age, with the help of her best friend and partner in crime she is on the right path to success. However she never expected to pall in love with the man who was just a means to an end.
Alex is somewhat of a mystery but he is more than willing to open up to the right person. When Ellie catches his eye then his heart he finds himself wanting things he never thought possible. He is also the man who will play an important part in bringing Ellie closer to her end game.
With this couple hot in and out of the bedroom, lines become very blurred.
Not all is as it seems and people are going to get hurt no matter what
Rose Sawyer currently lives on campus full time while working on her undergraduate degree in Biblical and Religious studies with an emphasis on Religion and Sociology in California, where she was born and raised. On weekends, she travels home to see her parents and the gaggle of cats, dogs, horses and other four-legged animals that she loves.
