Seriously the prologue alone will speak to a person!
Things with her grandmother are less than great and don't seem to be looking up. However, there is one person who could be an up to her South Carolina journey and he has been labeled as off limits. Will she really listen and stay away? Could a summer romance be just what she needs?
Knotted Roots is such an amazing book. It really lets you see the differences between places and people, and also how these places and people change each other. Roxie may be stubborn, but even she is no match if she really opens up. The story is told from Roxie POV. I definitely recommend it!

When the one boy you had been crushing on is no longer available, what should you do?
Katy is ready to give up, but even as much as Brian pisses her off there is just something about him. Besides, spend enough time with each other and you just start to grow on each other. It doesn't help that being attractive runs in his family.
Brian likes her. Of course, he is the boy that teases the girl he likes. Unfortunately, that is too elementary and Katy is no little girl on the playground. Will he grow up and stop sending her these mixed signals, or will she be happy with someone else?
Hidden Falls is written from both Katy and Brian's POVs. The story alternates between characters. It is very well written, and highly recommended.
