Ruthi Kight has really outdone herself!
Delia has lived in a mental hospital for 10 years, half of her life. Now she is being thrown back out into the same world and town that has despised her since she accidentally set her home aflame killing her family. Now she must manage on her own to figure out how to survive.
Then enters Liam. Hot as hell and the cocky attitude to go with it. He offers her everything she needs at the moment. Somewhere to sleep, food. This guy is too good to be true.
"This dude had fucking lost his mind. He just invited a total stranger to sleep on his couch. To move into his home. To have access to his valuables. It was settled. He was officially on my Nucking Futs list. As far as I was concerned, he qualified for the title."
She is attracted to him, and he is just as attracted to her. Everybody has their secret and skeletons. Can they really get past the past? Will he still want her after knowing exactly who she is?
"I could smell his cologne and it made my knees weak, as if the ankle was enough to make me stagger. His scent wasn't over powering. It was clean and woodsy. Complete and total man. I had to stop myself from burying my nose in his chest and sniffing him like the crazy he probably thought I was."
Burn Out is written in Delia's point of view. She is such an awesome character and keeps you wanting more the entire time. She is completely kick ass, but she has a soft spot too. She isn't so easy to trust people, but she knows when she has no other choice she much take what she can get. The book is well written with a ton of emotion. I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for an amazing book to read!

Ruthi Kight currently lives in her hometown of Columbia, SC, with her fiancé and five year old daughter. She has an unhealthy addiction to books, music, and chocolate, but not necessarily in that order. When her dream of being a rock star didn't work out, she focused on her other passion: writing. She is the author of Knotted Roots, a YA Coming of Age story, and is currently working on two other novels that are due out this year.
