well, this is one book I will not be forgetting any-time soon.
I have never had so much fun reading a book for a long time, I just could not stop laughing and smiling. I know that sounds weird, when taking about a book written about a love triangle, (maybe because I figured out how the book was going to end)but my god this book is very different and unique. At first I taught I would be like all the other love triangle stories but....absolutely not. It was fresh, vibrant, funny and witty.
Laney the leading lady, never once pissed me off or made me angry with her indecision. She handles the situation with dignity, you are able understand her and all the different confusing emotions she goes through and her struggle to see clarity.
Both guys were great but I loved Dane from the moment he entered Laney's life,
Evan is sweet and cute and he loves Laney, They have been best friends since they were kids. I love their friendship.
The story was just great, it had real depth of coming of age, growing up and emerging as the person you are meant to be.
Starting over and finding your feet is not always easy but Laney had had her "Crew" to help her along. The Crew is awesome I loved the friendship and bond between them, by the end of the book you are going to be dying to be apart of this crew.....trust me!!
I loved the multiple point of view , that added another layer to the story
S.E Hall has done a wonderful job with the writing and the development of her characters. The writing is the thing I love the most about the book; its fresh, funky, it leaps off the page. I cannot wait to read more from her she has a real talent with word and enchanting you with them.
A solid 4.5 stars for this wonderful story.
