BLOG TOUR STOP~IVY LEAGUE by Christopher Waltz
Blurb
“Within a few months, everything changed for
me, and as anyone could probably guess already, not for the better. Life,
itself, began to fall apart...
But I guess that’s what happens when you become
a teenage drug-dealer.”
Jamie Brewer has just gotten the one piece of
mail he’s been waiting for his whole life: his college acceptance letter. But when a series of unfortunate events
makes paying tuition to one of the most prestigious universities in the country
practically impossible, Jamie makes a decision that will not only provide him
with the cash he needs, but may also get him killed in the process…
Selling drugs starts out well for Jamie, but
things quickly begin to spiral out of control: his best friend and girlfriend
are weary of his career choice, a local police officer is determined to catch
him in the act, and worst, his partner in crime, Gabe, may be more dangerous
than anyone ever imagined.
What begins as fun and games is about to become
much more serious, causing Jamie to question just how far he will go and who’s
lives he will risk in order to become Ivy League
REVIEW
Jameson Brewer, also known as James, is finishing up his senior year of high school. Unfortunately for him, he cannot have a normal senior year.
He gets accepted to his school of choice and thinks everything is going to be great, but before he can tell his parents they decide it is perfect timing to tell James and his brother they are getting a divorce.
Everything was still okay because he got into his top school, except James forgot to apply for scholarships and grants. Now he must find a way to get some money, and quick so he can attend college. Ideas were thrown around at school, but it wasn't until his friend made a joke that he took an idea seriously.
"He smiled and let out asarcastic laugh, one i was all-too used to hearing."And look,if all else fails, you can always sell drugs."
He did not think much about it at first, but as the day went on he realized how much of a demand there was for weed.
"He had been kidding, this I know, but maybe he was onto something..."
This led to his drug dealing adventure. He gets mixed up with a grower and decides this will be the perfect way for him to make money.

This led to his drug dealing adventure. He gets mixed up with a grower and decides this will be the perfect way for him to make money.
Unfortunately, drug dealing is more complicated than it first seems. His best friend says he will be there when he needs him but not be involved, he gets a girlfriend that ends up concerned, and a brother that wants to be involved.
To add to it all this is an extremely dangerous way to earn money.
He will see things he never thought his eyes would see and experience things he never even imagined. What happens when he is into deep? Will he get out, or is it too late? When the cops get involved, what will happen to him?
