Mercy Amare always wows me with her books and this book is no exception.
Scarlett didnt choose the life she had, but when she realized she deserved more, she made some changes. Number 1 move to Hope, Florida.
Little did she know it would change her whole life. She wants to be normal, but that is unrealistic! However there are some poeple who can see the real Scar. Then there are others that either dont want what is best for her or never took the chance to know her.
When things get tough will she run away? Can she have a normal life and finally get the life she deserves?
Jaded is written from Scar's point of view. She is as complicated as her life, but she doesnt want that for herself. She is easy to love, but it takes nothing for someone to make her feel guilty. This is such a heartfelt story. Journey with Scar as she finds herself while also learning about others! You would not regret reading this amazing book!
Faded (Book 2)

“I think I’m going to like your costume,” Stephan says quickly. “And I will totally let you bite me.”
“Only you could think about sex during the zombie apocalypse,” I joke.
“Well somebody is going to have to repopulate the earth. It’s a rough job, but I think I’m up for the challenge.” He puts his arm around my shoulder and starts walking me to the door. “In fact, we better get started now.”
I remove his arm from around my shoulder. “Right. You get started without me. I’m just going to grab my costume.”

Oh My Gosh!
If you have not read this book yet, you must!!!!I cant lie the ending is the best part, but the whole book is awesome!
Scarlett knows she was being a 'selfish bitch' as her boyfriend, Stephen, so kindly put it. Lucky for her, she atleast admitted to it. That is the first step, right?
Now she must go home and make it all better with everyone she so abruptly left behind. While doing this she will start her journey to showing the world who Scarlett Ryan really is. What more could she ask for? Scarlett is on a mission. It is time that everyone gets what they deserve. Will she be able to get what she deserves, or run away again before she even gets the chance.
Faded is written in Scarlett's POV. She shows in this book just how vulnerable and insecure even she is. She has some tough decisions but she faces them head on. She is strong, but she is also broken. It'll take her family and friends to show Scar that she is not alone, and she is greater than anyone ever imagined!
Hated (Book 3)

Aah! I cant believe Scar's story has come to an end!
Luckily, we are not left filling in a bunch of blanks where her life is concerned.
"Absolutely not. Marrying you was the best decision I have ever made. Even in my drunken state of mind, I knew that you were the one I was meant to be with forever." And now it's my turn to ask. "Do you regret it?"
Thats right, they are married!!!!! Eeek!
Not everyone can be happy about this. Will they get it annulled before they consummate or will they justify that drunk or not it is meant to be?
Can Stephan handle having Scarlett part-time?
Yep, it is time to re-jump-start Scars career. No time for much of anything else. MTV in her face and more secrets revealed. Her family continues to grow, and between her and Bridge it is like multiple slaps in the face.
This is extremely emotional, and crazy series! The life of the rich and famous is no joke. Scarlett never thought wanting a normal life would change her so much, but not only is she now more confident and courageous, she is even more kick ass!
Hated is written in Scar's POV, just like Jaded and Faded. She continues to grow as a person, which is truly shaped by every unexpected occurrence that pops up. This story is emotional and inspirational. Still trying to figure out how everyone can think her life is so awesome just because she is famous. I think even with a love for music, fame comes with a huge price! This series is a definite much read! I need so much more!
